Missing repodata/ for CentOS 8 on
Hi folks,
I've noted that the CentOS 8 debuginfo repo lacks the repodata/ directory:
http://debuginfo.centos.org/8/x86_64/
Did the maintainers forget to upload it? It does have all the .rpm
files under the Packages/ sub-directory though:
http://debuginfo.centos.org/8/x86_64/Packages/
And no repodata/ there either.
Also, I've noted the 8-stream/ directory which is empty. Is it

Problems with reposync and createrepo on CentOS 7 for RHEL8/CentOS8 repo?
Hi,
I tried to reproduce the issue but without success, everything seems
to be working fine (I've copied
repodata directory created by the reposync on Centos7 machine to RHEL8
server to /tmp/pg12repo directory):
RHEL8 # dnf search postgresql12 --repofrompath=a,/tmp/pg12repo --repoid=a

Kerio Mail Server - anyone?
Hey guys,
I'm trying to install the latest Kerio and it seems to want an older
version of libstdc++ which I cannot find anywhere in RPM land
(sorry, but I just know gmail is going to mangle this on its way out )

Segmentation Faults on DomU
Hi All,
I am seeing strange segmentation faults on DomU after I install gcc (
or for that matter any s/w with yum).
I am using PV linux images.
- I am using the source for xen 3.0.4 from Xensource and I built Xen +
Dom0 from source, and booted Dom0.
- I then downloaded the fedora6 file system images from jailtime.org
and booted the DomU using the kernel from the step above.
- When I run

an --exclude-from question
It's probalby a common question, and I've read the man pages and such, but
I need a little bit more help getting this specific task to work right.
Basically, I want to mirror home directory structures, and only two files
within each home directory, to other machines from a central server. Those
files are ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs and ~/.procmailrc. Other files should
not be transfered,

Using rsync for a backup program but having trouble getting --exclude-from to work properly
Reading and re-reading the man page has got me nowhere with this issue
and searching your site on '--exclude-from' got me to the same place.
Here is the script I am using:

#/bin/bash
suffix=`date +%Y%m%d`
echo Suffix is "$suffix"
fromdir=/home/bob/
echo Source dir is "$fromdir"

Commit history duplicated, seeing weird diffusion activity (Was: [Diffusion] rG67c416dc9a5a: [DebugInfo] Allow spill slots in call site parameter descriptions)
I just got a Diffusion notification about a change of mine being reverted by Fangrui, but I'm not sure that's actually what happened and am confused and concerned.
My commit was "[DebugInfo] Allow spill slots in call site parameter descriptions", and it appears in the history under two hashes: 1ee84e and 67c416. The first commit contains the actual change. The second touches

libguestfs on Debian 6 squeeze problems
I'm trying to install libguestfs on Debian squeeze installed from
http://people.debian.org/~bengen/libguestfs/
It does not work. Here are the details:
I was able to install libguestfs-tools and its dependencies. However,
aptitude removed the following two packages: qemu and qemu-system. I'm
not sure if it's okay or not. If I try to install those packages back, I

Script to sync with repo
under 5.6 I have a script that runs every night to rsync the repodata
for local installations.
I added the 6.0 to do the same.
Something seems wrong now for 6.0. I do the same thing and I get errors
from my local repo at install time.
Seems like the cyrus-sasl package is never happy and aborts the
installation.
Is something wrong with the script below? It seems like it successfully

[LLVMdev] Many PPC64 failures with llvm 3.3
After some head scratching and debugging it turns out that disabling shared
libs fixes the problem. This might be related to
http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=13124 . It would be nice to get this
finally fixed otherwise cmake + shared libs is no go.
Thanks.
