GNOME menu entries for wine run games
I have been trying to add a launcher to the gnome menu for some of my wine games, but I have found that when I add them to the menu the games complain about missing files, I assume because it is looking for the rest of the game files in the directory that the launcher is in. This doesn't happen when I run the same command within the games directory they work fine. I used to have this problem

Trouble: Time Difference with difftime
Hello all!!! I want to measure the duration of events (given a start and an end time). The catch is that I require the output in calender days. This means: 02-Jan-2011 00:01:00 minus 01-Jan-2011 23:59:00 should be 1 day (although the real time difference is only 2 minutes) My data is the following head(episode.ct) [1] "2009-07-13 13:37:20 CEST" "2009-07-14 07:29:20 CEST"

Re: WINE fails in directories with Question Marks in name
stvs wrote: > Is there a way to tell WINE that question marks in directory names are okay? WINE fails whenever I ask it to access a file from within a directory with a question mark in its name. I had the exact same problem. The only workaround is to get that folder renamed to DOS compatible characters, let comskip run through Wine, and then change the name back again. I had to change the

Pigeonhole-sieve auto-reply
Is it possible to have a sieve script reply with a press message to certain emails (and only certain emails) based on sieve matches? I see a lot on vacation replies, but I want something more specific. Something along the lines of procmails formail command? Everything I?ve searched for is about vacation r filing replies into the same folder as the original message.

Unknown versions in git.
The Arch Linux vcs packaging guidelines used to recommend shallow cloning of git packages, as apparently this was said to save bandwidth for the repo server. Now Pacman is doing the cloning automatically based on the vcs URL in the sources array, so the checkout function is no longer needed, and versioning is now done via a pkgver() function that in the case of git, uses git describe --long if the

survSplit: further exploration and related topics
To Danardonos concern of splitting time for records with delayed entry: This can fairly easily be accomodated, by simply splitting time in small intervals of time since entry into the study, and then compute the value of the other timescales for each of these e.g.: current.age <- time.from.entry + age.at.entry but the cut on the other timescales will not be exactly where you may want them

Treat files that were modified locally and remote
Hi - is there a clever way to identify files that have been change on the local _and_ the remote location? Without such a check it may happen, that changes are lost without even noticing. One way to identify such files would be to do a dry-run upsync, then a dry-run downsync, find files that would have been sync'ed in both dry- runs, and then prompt the user for some action. Is

don't delete existing files...
Hi everybody, I wonder if anyone could help me with an issue.. I have to sync several files from several computers "against" a server. The particularity is that some users might have acces to the server and can modify/create files... The problem appears when a user, who has created a file in the remote server (but that file doesn't exists locally), calls rsync with --delete flag.

[LLVMdev] Best way for JIT to query whether llvm.fma.* is fast?
Thanks! That’s probably close enough for practical purposes. I looked at the overrides on various targets, and they all return true if the FMA hardware exists. - Arch From: Jingyue Wu [mailto:jingyue at google.com] Sent: Wednesday, December 10, 2014 2:56 PM To: Robison, Arch Cc: llvmdev at cs.uiuc.edu Subject: Re: [LLVMdev] Best way for JIT to query whether llvm.fma.* is fast?
