[w.jacobs@btclick.com: flac-1.0.1-osx-ppc.]
Could someone more familiar with OSX field this question? I'm not going to be able to explain how to access the command line, or what frontends/players are available for that platform. ----- Forwarded message from Warren Jacobs <w.jacobs@btclick.com> ----- Date: Sun, 28 Jul 2002 02:19:11 +0100 From: Warren Jacobs <w.jacobs@btclick.com> To: mdz@debian.org Subject:

Bug in file.access on Windows when using network shares
Dear R-Devel, I've run into an issue with a package (vcfR) that uses file.access to check a file is readable before opening it. The issue is actually in base R though. I've looked into the package code, and it calls file.access(path, mode = 4). I've created a minimal working example of the code in winAccessW from src/gnuwin32/extra.c, and the problem arises when GetFileSecurityW is

Bug in file.access on Windows when using network shares
Dear Tomas, Thanks for your email. This can be easily reproduced if there is access to a shared folder. I've reproduced this behaviour on both Windows 7 and Windows 10. Steps to reproduce: 1. Ensure Offline Files is turned on within Windows 2. Using Windows Explorer, browse to a folder shared on a network using a UNC path, e.g. \\mypc\myshare\ 3. Create a test file, e.g. test.txt 4. Within

[PATCH] Integrating applications into Mini-OS
I sent this patch directly to Gregor, and neglected to CC this list. Sorry about that. I''d like to make it so that there is no need to modify any Mini-OS source files when extending it with an application. All that is required is a change to Makefile, and a small change to kernel.c, printf.c, and string.c. I have enclosed the patch. With this patch, one could write an application in a

[LLVMdev] context/scope of instruction
Hello, I need to know how I get the LLVM::IDScope object of an instruction. My program contains: call void (...)* @commit(), !dbg !16 !16 = metadata !{i32 16, i32 5, metadata !8, null} !8 = metadata !{i32 589835, metadata !4, i32 10, i32 1, metadata !2, i32 0} ; [ DW_TAG_lexical_block ] LLVM::Instruction.hasMetadata() is 0 I got LLVM::Scope for variables over DIGlobalVariable.getContext()

GSSAPI cross-realm fixed
Attached is a patch which in my environment (Linux/Heimdal 1.2.1) fixes cross-realm GSSAPI authentication. Changes it makes: 1. When using krb5_kuserok, do not call gss_compare_name to check that authn_name and authz_name are the same. Instead, make TWO calls to krb5_kuserok, one for each ID. If both IDs are acceptable, allow the login. 2. Disable checking that the name is a

Follow-me to my answering machine :-(
Hello asterisk users! I, like many people, have a cell phone. I also have some SIP phone devices (software and hardware). I'd like to have one number that rings all my phones and routes the call to wherever I pick up. However, my cell phone has its own call forwarding voicemail. I can't just turn that off, because then direct-to-cell calls wouldn't ever get to voicemail - that

Kernel panic on import / interrupted zfs destroy
I have a box running snv_134 that had a little boo-boo. The problem first started a couple of weeks ago with some corruption on two filesystems in a 11 disk 10tb raidz2 set. I ran a couple of scrubs that revealed a handful of corrupt files on my 2 de-duplicated zfs filesystems. No biggie. I thought that my problems had something to do with de-duplication in 134, so I went about the process of

Handling Multiple Select Lists
Hi All, After much searching and head scratching I post you this! I can''t seem to find a generic way to handle multiple select data. The function I use to receive form values will only pass the first selected value from a multiple select. I have pasted part of the form and the function below. Thanks for any pointers, Vince // Example selectbox <select

Kerberos check logic incorrect
In configure.in, there is a check that does `krb5-config --version | grep -v 1\.2`, making sure there is no "1.2" in the version of Kerberos in use. This is to prevent compiling against MIT Kerberos version 1.2, which is too old for Dovecot. Unfortunately for this idea, Heimdal 1.2.1 is out. And Dovecot builds fine against it. Whoever committed this check also appears to have removed

Locking Problems with Samba 2.2.7
I have a new Dell server running Red Hat 8.0 Linux. I just downloaded and installed Samba 2.2.7 from the Red Hat Web site. I am having trouble with Microsoft Access 2000 data base locking. The program runs in a runtime version (.mde)on each client. Only the database(.mdb), the permissions file(.mdw) and the lock file (.ldb) are resident on the server running Samba. Each computer can individually
