RSYNC auto configuration
Hi Folks, At the moment, I am at the stage where I can only do the back manual. I have run the first steps of configure and then make. Now when I run this command, I can be able to have files transfered to a remote server rsync -t (filename) (remote-location) forinstance rsync -t *.p dev:testing and doing this, I am still asked for the password for the remote server. I have tried copying

rsync configured but with little probleam in the end
Hello Folks, I am wondering what could be the problem now. I have succeeded in having an ssh login without password request. Reaching the last stage of creating the rbackup.sh, that's where I got the problem. I made this file executable by running this command chmod +x rbackup.sh Now, when I run this command (./backup.sh) to execute it, I get errors .....complaining of the source on line 53.

Vector from Matrix
Dear Mailing List Members, the problem I've been grappling with für quite some time now is the following: I have a 100 rows x 200 columns matrix. data.set <- matrix(rnorm(20000, 100, 200)) Now I would like to get a vector of length 100 which collects the values from the following procedure: Take the sum of the minima of the two values from each row of columns 1 and 101, and divide it

Proper Usage of the XREG in ARIMA
I am using the auto.arima package to do some basic forecasting based on CPU usage. I now have found a calendar that has various activities that partially control the computer's usage and want to factor that in (They are effectively dummy variables indicating a particular type of activity that week). Per the ARIMA instructions I am to feed those in a a vector or matrix. I am getting lost in the

more reassociation in IR
( I came across this issue in the context of D46336 <https://reviews.llvm.org/D46336>. Thanks, Sanjay, for starting this discussion.) If we will move reassociation, or keep additional ones , out of instcombine, open questions for me would be : 1. Since -reassociate isn't a fixed point pass, we might need to repeat "-instcombine -reassociate" multiple times to

A question about R2Winbugs
Dear R users: I was trying to fit a HMM with mixture of Gaussian into the dataset, and I tried to implement it by R2Winbugs. But I got the following errer. * Error in FUN(X[[1L]], ...) : .C(..): 'type' must be "real" for this format* Does anybody know what's the problem? Does R2Winbugs accept some matrix as inits? I would really appreciate your help. Thank you very much.
