Bug in a couple of btrfs-progs components
Hi, (I''m not a list member and may not see any responses to this) I''ve been using btrfs on my Raspberry Pi. Yesterday I tried to use the "btrfs scrub" function and, while the scrub started OK, I couldn''t run "btrfs scrub status" to see what was happening. Whenever I ran it, I just got the command help. The same command on my x86 box worked OK.

nlminb function
Hello, I've got a program written in S-plus which I think is converted successfully to R with the exception of part of the opt.param function written. In S-plus it is: nlminb(start=x0, obj=negllgamma.f, scale=1, lower=c(0.01,0.0001), upper=c(10,0.9999), gamma=gamma, maxlik=maxlik, y=ldose, s=lse, max.iter = 1000, max.fcal = 1000)$par and so far with R I've got to: optim(par=x0,

relimp
I am trying to use Rcmdr 1.5_4 with R-2.11.1 (order to run to run the new version of misdist-0.5.3 which is built under R-2.11.1). however relimp is required for Rcmdr and the version of relimp_1.0.1 downloaded from CRAN will not work with the latest version of Rcmdr (I get error message telling me to reload it). Is there any way round this problem or will there be a new version relimp that is

Using the rsync checksums for handling large logfiles.
Dear all, I've only just joined this list, but I can't find any mention of this idea anywhere else, so I thought I'd just post here before getting too deep into programming and possibly reinventing the wheel. Here at Aber, we have around 30 unix and linux servers doing core services. Each one is maintaining its own logfiles and, for various reasons, we want to keep these on the

Path Diagram
Hi All, Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else, but I have been searching for an answer all day and not been able to find one. I am trying to plot a path diagram for a CFA I have run, I have installed Rgraphviz and run the following: pathDiagram(cfa, min.rank='item1, item2, item3, item4, item5, item6, item7, item8, item9, item10, item11, item12', max.rank='SMP,

similar file names..
Hi all, I've recently started using rsync, and would like to know if there is any way for it to realise that similarly named files are the same. e.g. sendmail-8.12.2-i386-1.tgz and sendmail-8.12.2-i386-2.tgz (the second one being an update on the first and replaces it, but it is going to be very similar) I had a quick search on google, and found a few articles, namely :

ices2/icecast2 on a pen 100
hello, I got icecast2 and ices2 going on an old Pen 100 box. It's streaming a lecture given by Richard Stallman at the University of Aberystwyth in June 2002. The files are found on http://www.6809.org.uk/audio/ I had put the sample rate down to 24000, as the Pen 100 seem not to be able to handle anything about that. According ps aux, ices is taking 91 percent cpu. The box is working just

trigger a program when user login/logoff from NT domain
Hi all, Description: As most (if not all) of us known already Samba allows people to execute a program before (exec) and after (postexec) a user connect to a share. In our network due to certain requirement we have to find some way to run a program when the user login to NT domain, then run another program when he log out. A natural solution is to setup a Samba server and change the NT login

GGplot controlling point size across range
Hi all New to R and GGplot2 but loving the potential. I am trying to plot four separate point plots by looping over the data and plotting a different subset each time. When I plot the data as a point plot, the size of the points is determined by the data values used as below qplot(accum_rain, accum_g_radn, data = clim_sub[[i]], size = avgyld, colour = avgyld) The problem is that i want all

Sweave/margin
Hi! I am currently using Sweave for writing my bachelor thesis - and I have a problem: I am using a LaTeX style (report) with quite big margin spaces. The Sweave generated LaTeX code "floats" into the margin - and it looks ugly. The text is blocked and fine... then there comes some flattering code running over the margin... and blocked text again. Considering the LaTeX output, I guess

No subject
skype has been discussed here. This Friday, one of the subjects of our weekly Voip Users Conference will be about trying to connect our asterisk pbx with Skype. I have no nexus with Skype, Paypal or Ebay. In fact, (Note for google:) I have had recent serious ID theft problems resulting in fraudulent sales that Ebay is not helping me resolve - I hate Ebay - Ebay does NOT seriously fight fraud,

Phones won't stop ringing
We're having an issue that isn't easily googleable so I thought I might might try here. We have several customers who want all their extensions to ring on incoming calls. Frankly I think it is craziness to ring 11 extensions all at once but that is how they want it. We're doing this by creating an incoming route that goes to a hunt list containing all the extensions. This normally
