Wishlist: mention Vectorize in 'outer' man page (PR#10490)
Full_Name: Antonio, Fabio Di Narzo
Version: 2.6.1
OS: linux
Submission from: (NULL) (213.140.16.187)
In 'outer' man page, there is no mention of the Vectorize function.
Moreover, I think it isn't underlined enough that the FUN argument to 'outer'
must be a vectorized function (doc speaks about a function which has to 'operate
elementwise').

Max filesize for rsync?
What the maximum filesize rsync can transfer?
I'm trying to rsync one of my servers to another but the rsync is
croaking on a file that's barely 1GB.
Tips, hints, suggestions?
rsync server is AIX 4.3.3 ML11 - rsync 2.6.3
rsync client is AIX 5.3 ML1 - rsync 2.6.4
Thanks

Is the server running an rsync daemon? If so, why the ssh?

Upgrade from 2.3.1 to 2.6.6 fail
Hi all,
I upgrade my rsync from 2.3.1 to 2.6.6 today in the client host, everything
seems not working after the migration.
I didn't touch the rsync server.
Herewith is the log from my rsync server. I looks like something related to
IPV6, anyone has any idea?
Rsync Server : RHEL4 with rsync 2.6.3 deamon running
Rsync Client (merlin) : Solaris 8 with rsync 2.6.6

man page
Nah, this is the first time I've posted here in years. Gennaly things just
tick over with the application moving along in a nice straightforward
manner, improvment upon improvement. Rsync is one of the mose important and
usefu apps available for Linux and OS X (powered by APPLE!!!!); followed by
ffmpeg and vlc (and Apache, I guess, but I don't do much of that anymore).
The docs are very

Thanks Jim for looking into that, I was really starting to wonder what
was going on. Let me know if you find a way to tell the compiler to stop
complaining.

--bwlimit -z limits filesystem speed, not network speed
My impression when running with --bwlimit in combination with
compression -z is that the speed to the filesystem is limited to the
value given in --bwlimit.
This must be contrary to the intention with --bwlimit.
