redirect and sieve
Hello, I have set up postfix to use dove-cot lda. This works perfect. Sieve works a bit... I would like to user the redirect feature of sieve. Having followed the wiki I added the following in my .dovecot.sieve : require "redirect"; if header :contains "subject" ["order", "buy"] { redirect "orders at company.dom"; } With this setup I

OpenSuse 10.3 - Xen 3.1.0 - VIF for DomU not recording transmitted bits correctly
I would like to track DomU bandwidth usage from Dom0 but my OpenSuse Xen install is not tracking DomU bandwidth correctly. My DomU guests are able to access the network and therefore the networking layer appears to be working correctly. It just doesn''t report the traffic correctly in ifconfig. I am currently running OpenSuse10.3 with Xen 3.1.0_15042-51.3 running a xen kernel

Any workaround for ThinkPad memdisk?
Hi, I saw the Nov. 2006 message on Memdisk having a problem with ThinkPads. I also saw the comment in the memdisk code enabling and disabling A20. I've got a ThinkPad x61t that memdisk is not loading disk images on. The symptom is that it gets as far as saying "Loading boot sector... booting..." Then image partially runs - FreeDOS prints out its kernel message and it's

tinc to create VPN between cluster nodes (at different datacenters) for High Availability
I've not really dug into testing tinc yet, but if you all will humor me in an uneducated blast of questions, I'd appreciate it. What can you do to keep tinc going if your high availability comes from cluster nodes being dispensable? Can tinc run on the cluster nodes? That seems like chicken/egg problem though to get tinc server installed and cluster nodes brought up... If tinc needs to be

Solution for 1 time blast of 200, 000 recorded calls
Hi, I'm helping out with a political campaign and would like to use asterisk to blast out about 200,000 calls with a short message from the candidate. Provider: I'm thinking voipjet may be a good solution? Hardware setup: I will have access to several T-1 lines so I would just want to set up the dialers to limit the number of concurrent calls and so forth. I found teleyapper on

touble with install
I did ./configure make make install I got no errors, but it doesn't seem to have installed everything I need. Swat won't start. It didn't put an smb.conf file in /etc/samba (it didn't even create this folder) or /usr/local/samba/lib/. When I run testparm, I get Segmentation fault as my only output. Even if I create an smb.conf and run testparm on that file I get the exact

RFC Storing BB order in llvm::Instruction for faster local dominance
Hello again. :) There has been renewed interest in having instructions track their own order in basic blocks to help make dominance queries fast. I have a very simple naive implementation of this here: https://reviews.llvm.org/D51664 Essentially, every instruction will carry an integer order number, and inserting new instructions invalidates the ordering. I know there are better algorithms for

BLAST output parsing
Hi All, I have use the BLAST program provided by NCBI to compare large databases and have generated a lot of output in one long text file. I was looking for a way to parse out the results in a nice way so that it could be easily visualized. I was thinking of trying to write something in R, but I wanted to check in with the help group to make sure I am not re-inventing the wheel. Any help

RV: RV: LATENCY PROBLEMS
I thought of creating an htb class for each user, but as you said I haven''t got enough bw to do soo. That’s why my setup only has 5 classes with WRR queues so I get sure each user doesn’t affects the other users. On top of that I have an iplimit to a maximum of 15 parallel connections per user. So I get the following conclusions: A) change link B) upgrade to kernel 2.6 and use l7

similarity matrix conversion to dissimilarity
I have a matrix of similarity scores that I want to convert into a matrix of dissimilarity scores so that I can apply some clustering methods to the data. That is, high values in my matrix signify similarity and low values (zero being the lowest) signify no similarity. What functions/options in R or its packages are available for making this kind of transformation of a matrix?

Problem using F77_CALL(dgemm) in a package
Dear R-devel, I've written a numerical solver for SOCPs (second order cone programs) in R, and now I want to move most of the solver code into C for speed. I've written combined R/C packages before, but in this case I need to do matrix operations in my C code. As I have never done that before, I'm trying to write some simple examples to make sure I understand the basics. I am stuck

ping times to ConnectTo machine are often over a second or at least 300 milliseconds. Hundreds or thousands of times slower than other nodes from same physical location.
