Hi everyone, This is a strange problem I have been having. I'm not sure where the problem is, so I figured I'd start here. I as having problems with Bacula stopping on 17Gig Volume sizes, so I decided to try to Just dd a 50 gig file. Question about iptables and maximum file size
Hi, I would like to know if there is any possibility to select from iptables the files with maximum size of 300 kbytes and send them to a proxy server. As I know until now you can only mark files with maximum size of 64 kbytes. thank you in advance, Codrin. _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list / LARTC@mailman.ds9a.nl http://mailman.ds9a.nl/mailman/listinfo/lartc

limits.conf for file size on vsftpd
I've read conflicting reports on whether this works or not ... I have a chrooted instance of vsftpd (using chroot_local_user=YES), with nopriv_user=vsftpd. I set the following in my limits.conf file: vsftpd hard fsize 50000 Now, I know this works in a shell. However, I want it to work for users uploading files, but they can upload away without issue. Has anyone

ERROR: cannot allocate vector of size?
I've looked through all of the posts about this issue (and there are plenty!) but I am still unable to solve the error. ERROR: cannot allocate vector of size 455 Mb I am using R 2.6.2 - x86_64 on a Linux x86_64 Redhat cluster system. When I log in, based on the specs I provide [qsub -I -X -l arch=x86_64] I am randomly assigned to a x86_64 node. I am using package GenABEL. My data (~ 650,000

[PATCH] ocfs2: check new file size on fallocate call
When changing a file size with fallocate() the new size isn't being checked. In particular, the FSIZE ulimit isn't being checked, which makes fstest generic/228 fail. Simply adding a call to inode_newsize_ok() fixes this issue. Finding the size of a vorbis stream
Hello, I am trying to make an OGG Vorbis player for my cell phone. I have ported J-Ogg to J2ME, and it is decoding files in non-realtime. The problem is that I need to convert the OGG into a WAVE stream, which needs the size of the data in the header which has to be read before the OGG is fully decoded. So my question is, is there any way to find the size of the resulting PCM data before decoding

ANN: python-markdown2 -- another Python implementation of Markdown
Hello all, I'm announcing python-markdown2 -- another Python implementation of Markdown. (MIT license.) http://code.google.com/p/python-markdown2/ It should be a drop-in replacement for [markdown.py](http://www.freewisdom.org/projects/python-markdown/). It fixes some issues that I ran into with markdown.py [^1]. I believe that it is faster than markdown.py [^2] and on par or a little

Different results from random.Forest with test option and using predict function
Hello R Gurus, I am perplexed by the different results I obtained when I ran code like this: set.seed(100) test1<-randomForest(BinaryY~., data=Xvars, trees=51, mtry=5, seed=200) predict(test1, newdata=cbind(NewBinaryY, NewXs), type="response") and this code: set.seed(100) test2<-randomForest(BinaryY~., data=Xvars, trees=51, mtry=5, seed=200, xtest=NewXs, ytest=NewBinarY) The

calculating logit parameters (odd ratio is exactly one or zero)
Dear statistician experts, Sorry if this is a trivial question, or the old same question (i don't know what is the efficient key word for this issue). In order to understand the calculation of parameter of logistic regression, I did an exercise through spreadsheet following the procedural example from a literature, or the available spreadsheet (with calculation formula). I ended up with

[LLVMdev] function pointer alias analysis
Hi I see when LLVM builds the CallGraph SCCs. a function calling through a function pointer is conservatively assumed to call internal and external functions. Therefore, it has an edges pointing to the externalnode2, ie. the externalnode representing outgoing calls from this module. does LLVM have any function pointer analysis capabilities in the mainline ? Thanks, -Trent

Partition results based on field
Hello all I''m using Ferret for a site wide search where I have several kinds of (similar) objects in a central index (using a "type" field containing the class name). This works great, and I can search all objects with one query. What I''d like to do now is to limit the results so that there will be a maximum of 10 (or 5 or whatever) results for each type.. I

courier-dovecot-migrate.pl and courier-5: UTF-8 flag
Hi, Courier to dovecot migration script https://dovecot.org/tools/courier-dovecot-migrate.pl referenced at the https://wiki.dovecot.org/Migration/Courier page has a couple of problems. One of them is that the script could not process courierpop3dsizelist generated by courier-5. File format has been changed a bit to mark UTF-8 messages with an additional attribute. Is it safe to ignore such flag
