many SSH connexions with dsynx/SSH replication
Hi
I am trying replication over dsync/ssh, as explained there:
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Replication
I added the options below to dovecot.conf. It works, but it
seems there is a new SSH connexion for each user, which is a bit
overkill performance-wise. Since I sync as root, I guess there
is a way of haing everything on the same SSH connexion?

openvpn and samba interfaces
Hi list,
I use Samba 3.0.24 on Etch.
I want to connect to my Samba share trough routed vpn.
Samba server works well from the lan, and my openvpn works fine.
But something is strange ...
In my smb.conf :
hosts allow = 127.0.0.1 192.168.10.0/24 10.8.0.0/24
hosts deny = 0.0.0.0/0
bind interfaces only = yes
interfaces = 127.0.0.1 192.168.10.254 10.8.0.1
where 192.168.10.254 is my lan

Reliability and robustness problems
I am trying to use rsync to backup from a site we will call "office" and
another we will call "home."
Both sites have DSL accounts provided by Arachnet.
At present the files being backed up don't all all to be backed up, but
OTOH we wish to backup lots more files that aren't being backed up now.
First, we create a local backup on our office machine which happens to

upgrade 1.0.15 -> 2.1.7: MBOX index compatibility and performance
Hi,
we just upgraded our mailserver from Dovecot 1.0.15 to Dovecot 2.1.7.
We use MBOX format (due to legacy compatibility), system users,
PAM+GSSAPI auth, filesystem quotas, and indexes located on a separate
filesystem:
mail_location =
mbox:~/mail:INBOX=~/mail/INBOX:INDEX=/var/cache/dovecot/indexes/%16Hu/%u
The 2.1.7 configuration files have been rewritten based on default
templates

User connexions stats
Dear samba users/developpers,
I would like to make stats on user desktop login/logout and I ask myself
if it's possible to do this on the samba PDC. But it doesn't seems to be
so easy.
Maybe parsing logs or using smbstatus?
Is there anyone who did something like this and who can share he's
knowledge ;)
Or maybe it's ... impossible to get accurate datas about this, I don't

showrepl is showing a deleted connexion
Hi Denis,
I have seen in an old post that you have tested new KCC from full mesh to bridge head at a french school.
Is your "drs showrepl" correct on such DC's ?
In my case, a drs showrepl is showing a full mesh on inbound and outbound (not good) but only 1 KCC connection objects (good)

Don't wait too much time (for tincd)
Hi!
I'm in China now and my Internet connexion is very bad. I ever use the
best ADSL provider that I can have.
In some case (often), the connexion is lost. At the first time, tincd
will wait few time and retry. But, this delay is increased if the
connexion can't be made... so, it's quicker to kill tincd and restart it.
How it possible to make tincd restart if the connexion

Aggregate 3 internet connexions.
Hi,
I have 3 internet connexions :
Router 1 : 192.168.212.2
Router 2 : 192.168.212.3
Router 3 : 196.200.8.73
I can''t change IP adress of router 3 because I haven''t admin password
and my provider don''t want to give it.
I want only 1 PC to aggregate the 3 connexions.
How I can make that Router 3 work on my 192.168.212.x network?
Thanks
Jeremy

FYI, we've posted a component of Spectre mitigation on llvm-commits
The folks working on phab are busily propping it up. It should be
relatively healthy now.

am trying to configure a VPN conection for the clients
of the LAN and allow to connect them to the Internet

I have installed in the server a QoS policy and I have

Many thanks to those good people!
Have you considered developing the patch description into a blog post
for blog.llvm.org, maybe after the patch lands?
Best,
