[Samba to samba transfert] Timestamp problem
/[Same as previous mail cause previous filtered and empty]/ Hello all, I recently did some transfer of files located on a samba server to another samba server. To do this I used nautilus from the destination machine to connect to the source computer and initiate the transfer. I realized then that the /date created/ and the /date modified/ info of the transfered files were the same as the

tftp-hpa backport to openbsd tftpd
Hi I'm working on an update of the openbsd tftpd, mainly to support RFC 2349 (tsize option; and 2347-2348 too). In fact, i backport from tftp-hpa (which came from an old openbsd cvs). I know, i can use tftp-hpa but first it doesn't compile on openbsd, second, i hope the backport could be include in openbsd cvs ... does someone know a tftp client or a test to really know what is good or

Samba 4.7.x IOWAIT / load average
Hi, I want to report a strange problem with samba 4.7.x and IO wait / CPU usage. I am using linux (archlinux, kernel 4.14.2) and encounter a very strange bug with only samba 4.7.x (from 4.7.0 to last 4.7.4). With these versions CPU usage and IO WAIT is very high with a single CIFS client with very low transfert (about 1MB/s). I rollback to 4.6.9 to 4.6.12 and no problem with these versions.

Acls support in rsync
Hi, I already wrote about this subject last month but didn't get attention... I've found a way to transfert acls with a script and applying them. This process has already been described in this mailing list (http://lists.samba.org/pipermail/rsync/2000-March/001992.html) but there's a way to do it in a more efficient way using some getfacl options. You can dump acls of a full
