Files exist, but sometimes are not seen by the clients: "No such file or directory"
Hello all, We're having problems with files that suddenly stop being seen on the fuse clients. I couldn't yet find a way to reproduce this. It happens every once in a while. Sometimes you try to ls some file and it can't be found. When you run ls on the parent directory, it is shown on the output, and, after that, you can access it. I'm mentioning ls, but the problem also

xen failover
Hi, I''ve got a question regarding failover. I''ve set up Xen and DRBD with the versions packaged for CentOS 5.4. Live migration of the domU''s is working between the two xen nodes quite happliy. Each domU has two LVM LVs associated with it, partitioned as swp and root. DRBD is configured to just sync the LV containing the root partition, not swp. I''ve seen

More confusion on exclude rules
I have created two new files /export/home/bin/test_temp.delete_me and /export/home/webmstr/nflmg/scripts/regional/misc_loaders/test_temp.delete_me on the rsync server and am using the following exclude file. + bin/ + nflmg/scripts/regional/misc_loaders/ - core - *.bz2 - *.orig - *.BAK - *.bak - *.old - *.csv - *.tmp - *.4chart - *.xls - *.difftrx - *.difftra - *.rawbad - *.trx.all - *.tar.* -

exclude-from and include-from confusion
Learning rsync (love it) and am requesting some help in understanding the exclude-from/include-from rules. I've been doing some testing and the results aren't coming out as I expected. Problem: I have a directory with several dozen sub directories and would like to selectively pick a couple dozen directories to remotely copy. The issue is that there are a large number of directories and I

R CMD check errors
Hello, I'm getting some error messages from R CMD check I can't deal with. I'm working under Linux with R 1.8.1 The package working directory can be found at: http://www.uni-bayreuth.de/departments/math/org/mathe7/DISTR/distr.tar.gz Here's the 00check.log produced by R CMD check distr * using log directory '/home/tom/studium/R/swp/swp/package/distr.Rcheck' * checking

[LLVMdev] How to correlate LLVA with native ISA
Thank your for reply. The reason why these information are needed is that I am trying to extract the program signature (e.g., control flow) out side of the binary. Conventional compiler technique adds extra checking code into the target source or target IR in an invasive manner. Since code generator combines the added code with the original one, they don't need to correlate these two

Some questions about software pipeline in LLVM 4.0.0
Hi, I have some questions about the implementation of Software pipeline in MachinePipeliner.cpp. First, in hexagon backend, between MachinePipeliner and regalloc pass, there're some other passes like phi eliminate, two-address, register coalescing, which may change or insert intructions like 'copy' in MBB, and swp kernel loop may be destroyed by these passes. Why not put

Problems with exclude files in rsync 2.6.4
Hi, I've been trying to rsync some folders from my debian pc to a suse server. I created an exclude file called exclude_files.txt where one can read the following: ^/proc/* /prova1/ /var* *.o *.swp ^/dev* When I execute de command: rsync -aulHI --delete --partial --modify-window=2 --log-format=" %t %o %l %f " --stats \

rsync output -vv differs with dry-run option
I'm trying to figure out if a file has changed since the last rsync call. I use the following command line: rsync -cvv /mnt/xxx/vol1/dbase/100/kunden.dbf /mnt/label | grep "^total: " | sed -e 's/.* data=//' This gives a 0 if the file is unchanged and the file size if the file has changed. Adding the "dry-run" option "n" to the command line always

Dotfiles not being deleted?
Hello.. I'm attempting to copy/sync a development directory on my laptop to our web server, and for some reason dot-files are being copied but not deleted. Command line: rsync -rvva --delete-after -e ssh ./ server.com:/var/www/html/project/ The symptom is that I've got files like '.Makefile.swp' and '.hidden.php.swp' on the server (vi temp files) even after deleting them

problem with exclude
I've tried all of the permutations of exclude I can think of, so presumably I have some fundamental misunderstanding. The goal here is to exclude the file tv11.html in the ftp directory. rsync -avvvv -n --verbose --one-file-system -exclude='ftp/tv1.html' /usr/local/src /Media/sata/usr/local > /tmp/rsync (Server) Protocol versions: remote=30, negotiated=30 cmd=xclude=ftp/tv1.html

Some questions about software pipeline in LLVM 4.0.0
Hi - I replied to the original sender only by mistake. Sorry about that. When we started working on the pipeliner, and added it before the scheduler, we also were concerned that the scheduler or other passes would undo the work of the pipeliner. The initial thought was that we would add information (using metadata or some other way like you've suggested) to the basic block to tell the

line breaks
I have a question about the function of line feeds/carriage returns in an all linux (R, vi to write scripts) environment. In my scripts I have a few functions, using { or ( to wrap commands on the next line. Usually this is fine, but sometimes R appears confused by line wrappings (more likely of course it is me who is confused). I tried ';' to explictly break the line, but no dice. An

Speex 1.1.10 on ARM926EJ-Sid(wb) rev 3 (v5l)
Hi all, I'm trying to use libspeex 1.1.10 on an ARM926EJ-Sid(wb) rev 3 (v5l). I executed the speexenc and speexdec test files and they can encode and decode. But I'm getting 95% of cpu utilization on the codification and 44% on the decodification. I saw in the post: http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/speex-dev/2005-June/003485.html that this version of speex works fine on ARM

CentOS-4.4 update: don't forget those rpmsave and rpmnew files folks!
After you do your update, done forget to do updatedb, makewhatis, ... The locate for rpmnew has a couple items of interest and the locate for rpmsave returns one that occupies 24MB of your precious disks - /var/lib/Pegasus/prev-repository*. It compresses nicely to appx. 1MB, cpio bzipped --best. Change in your rndc key too, for DNS.

I can add up to R6 only. Copy of the R console is attached for your reference. Thanks. Andy -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Name: mywork.pdf Type:
