[Bug 2766] rsync endless loop
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2766 ------- Additional Comments From paul@debian.org 2005-06-02 08:47 ------- It seems to be looping in userspace (no system calls, hence strace doesn't show anything). Could you try ltrace instead of strace, that should show what library functions (if any) are being called which may help. -- Configure bugmail:

Locking issue
I know this has come up before....but.. I've got a locking issue I can't get over. Situation: --------- Unix writes a file to the /tmp directory MS-DOS (WFW 3.11) copys over the file (copy d:\file.txt ), locking it, and not releasing the lock. If Unix subsequently changes the file a re-issuing of the MS-DOS 'copy' command will appear to work ... but the MS-DOS file is

Converting Win fon-fonts to linux pcf fonts
Hi, I tried to convert win fon fonts to linux pcf fonts using fnt2bdf as it is described in the wine documentation. On some fonts fnt2bdf said rthat there is no charset set information in the fon file so that the -c option has to be used. But what charset option should be used for such fonts? fnt2bdf's help does print out a example where -c winsys is used, but never prints out all

Stay-on-Top-Flag / DynaGeo
Hi, I'm using a german program for dynamical geometry named "Euklid DynaGeo" with lot of succes. There are two problems: 1. If I want to create a macro DynaGeo puts a little window in front (Stay-on-Top-Flag) which has to be used to end the marking of the starting points of the macro. Under Wine this "Stay-on-Top" window is put behind the main window when an object

I've been having problems since updating to samba 3.0.10 on Debian 3.1 Below is the output of ltrace and gdb on the offending smbd process. I tried upgrading to 3.0.11 and the problem still exists. Anyone have any suggestions? [ltrace output] After about 20 seconds on the processes ltrace loops this iconv(0x82cecc8, 0xbffff218, 0xbffff21c, 0xbffff220, 0xbffff224) = -1 __errno_location()

Problem with 3.0.10 and 3.0.11 with 1 smbd process using99% cpu
I have this same problem on 3.0.10, and I also "fixed" it by deleting the tdbs. My problem, had nothing to do with printing, it was happening once I started winbindd with security = ADS. Jerry, what would we need to do to track this bug down in the tdb code? I have logs at level 10, ltrace output, and a backtrace. Do you think that there were changes made to the tdb code in 3.0.12

LLVM Block is not the basic block
Hi Dean Thank you very much for you very quick reply. I am still a little bit confused and below is some of my questions. In LLVM, basic blocks can contain function calls. This allows partial and/or full code inlining. ======= So the reason why basic blocks can contain function calls is because of code inlining? The control flow graph (CFG) referred to in LLVM passes only include the LLVM basic
