Dovecot 2.0 progress?
Hi, Been having a look at the roadmap on the wiki for Dovecot 2.0 and I was wondering how that's progressing? Are you able to offer a guesstimate on how far it is from stable Timo? Just asking because we're moving to new servers soon and I'm considering using the opportunity to switch from Dovecot/Maildrop/Maildir to Dovecot/deliver/mdbox if 2.0 is likely to be reasonably safe to use

logtail is incomplete.
logtail is a great program but it is incomplete. Currently it has no iead about log rolls which is normally done by renaming files from log to log.1 then log.2 etc... logtail should on seeing a different inode, try to determine if the log was just rolled as normal, and output the remainer of that rolled file, before outputing the other files down the chain to the current logfile. Of course

Bug#406973: logtail misses lines in rotated file
Package: logtail Version: 1.2.52 Severity: normal Tags: patch Hi, When a logfile is rotated, logtail misses the lines logged between the last logtail run and the logfile rotation. The attached patch allows to set an alternate logfile that logtail tries to use as the old logfile if the inode has changed. It can be used as: logtail -f /var/log/syslog -a /var/log/syslog.1 (Please note that this

ez version 3.0
Hi folks, I'd like to announce the release of version 3.0 of the "ez" package. This package was developed to aid those that are new to statistical programming. Over the course of several years of helping colleagues and students learn R, I observed that folks are often initially turned off R because they have difficulty obtaining SPSS-like results quickly (SPSS is the dominant

Generating time progressing line for Google Earth
Dear, I am trying to visualise a time-progressing line (it's supposed to represent spread patterns) using brew package and Google Earth. The idea is to have a function which takes start and end point geographic coordinates, as well as number of intervals to chop the path up, and returns the collection of points segmenting this line. Unfortunately my calculations fail for large distances,

Problem with Trellis graphics in nlme
Hi, I would be grateful for help with a problem which is irritating me. I am quite sure that I am doing something stupid, but I can't see what it is. I am running R 1.7 on Windows 2000. The graphics device is the PC screen. The graphics from the nlme demonstration in Bates an Pinheiro's manual work just as advertised. The CO2 data and the Orthodont data dsiplay

RFC: gallium/nv50: get rid of the screen_init stateobj
Hi. There's not much to say here, just replacing the screen_init stateobj with direct pushbuffer emission. We don't need to store all the usless state from init, and the constant buffer relocations which currently don't work if the addresses change (because the method CB_DEF_SET isn't among them (not an address)) become effective. Thoughts, ack / nack ? Thanks, Christoph

More Random Behaviour
Okay, I'm starting to face professional ridicule at work over this. A Samba install should take a couple of days, I've been at it... far to long now. When this started I chased the problem in all the wrong directions. I thought it was this environment. Now I don't think so. I have Samba 3.0.14a installed on an AIX 5.2 server. I had it running (not the way I wanted, but running).

ROMA project (R Output MAnager) / Progress report / Call for contributors
Hello useRs, This email is about the ROMA project, the implementation in pure S of a reporting system for R. Several month ago, I did then send on R-help a survey on that (mainly: what features did you expect for a reporting system). During the following months, I did try different approaches for the core functionalities, ending now with a set of generic functions of which I am satisfied. More

dss1 progressing message on zap channel
I am going to try to figure out why mu asterisk box connected by back to back cable to an PRI appliance is not going to send the PROGRESSING dss1 message. In fact i see the SETUP and the follwing CALL PROCEEDING but not the PROGRESSING so the appliance doesn't allow the "early audio" !!!!! this is my zapata.conf [channels] context = ser switchtype = euroisdn usecallerid = yes

some samba4 AD questions, after a week of playing around
Hi, I've been experimenting with samba4 for a little while now, and some things go very smoothly, others not quite so. :-) However I have some questions that hopefully some of you can help with. 1. In samba3/openldap we have seperate ou for groups and users. The samba-tool classicupgrade migrates these both into one single CN=Users. Is there a way to seperate them, like we had in samba3?

Google Cloud Directory Service password synchronization for AD DC
Hello again, and thank you so much for those valuable information, I'm progressing well. Google accepts crypt hashes, and I've managed with Garming's advice to get hashes when passwords get updated. I've only one small question at this point, the hash seems to be printed spanned on two lines, with a line break and a few spaces in the middle of the hash... Is this normal ? eg : INFO

[LLVMdev] Union type efforts and ComputeLinearIndex
I am curious how the efforts were progressing in implementing a union type. I am will to try to contribute somewhat to this even though I am perhaps somewhat of a beginner with LLVM(so it might be nice to collaborate with someone). I had a look at some of the subsystems that would require changes though I may have missed some. I however have a few questions- 1) What is ComputeLinearIndex for

RH9 to centos 5 386
I am testing the likelyhood of updating a couple RH9 systems to centos 5 386. I found at document that talked about updating to centos 4. steps being: 1.) backup 2.) rpm --import http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/centos/5/os/i386/RPM-GPG-KEY-centOS-5 rpm -Uvh --nodeps http://pubmirrors.reflected.net/centos/5/os/i386/CentOS/yum-3.0.5-1.el5.centos.5.noarch.rpm
