Marks SNMP HowTo
I followed Marks SNMP howto on Voip Magazine and ran into a small problem... (http://www.voip-magazine.com/content/view/2877/0/1/3/) When asterisk is running as a non-root user (asterisk) SNMP request for for the Asterisk MIB tree return nothing. If I quit asterisk and run it as root, all is fine. Does anyone have a idea what is going on? I have never used agentX, so I am unsure of what it is

Problems Building R-2.3.1 on Alpha server ES40 running Tru64 V5.1B PK#5
R Listers, One of the list contributors suggested I abandon attempts to build R-1.9.1 and focus on building R-2.3.1. I believe the main set of packages have been built properly (with some changes to the code) - however, when building the Recommended packages, the build fails. CODE CHANGES: ============= 1. My C compiler requires a ";" on line 589 of ..../src/main/printutils.c. Here

It has tested under debian woody, with specific version of ucd_snmp, so your mileage may vary. I am evaluating to transfer this effort under a more recent net-snmp umbrella, this could permit

Cacti-based monitoring
Hi, I maintain several dom0 hosts, and I would like to monitor the following with Cacti: * the overall hypervisor CPU usage * available hypervisor memory (e.g. memory that can be allocated to new domUs) and maybe: * domU CPU usage But the latter is not as important to me right now. Anyone have any pointers on how I might do this? My knowledge of Cacti is very basic. Basically: has anyone

[PATCH v8 0/6] evm: Do HMAC of multiple per LSM xattrs for new inodes
From: Roberto Sassu <roberto.sassu at huawei.com> One of the major goals of LSM stacking is to run multiple LSMs side by side without interfering with each other. The ultimate decision will depend on individual LSM decision. Several changes need to be made to the LSM infrastructure to be able to support that.
