Backgroundrb fixes for transfering large amounts of data
Hemant We''ve continued testing our application with backgroundrb and found a couple of other problems when transfering large amounts of data. Both of these problems are still present in the github version of code. The first problem is an exception in the Marshal.load call in the receive_data method in the Packet::MetaPimp class. The root cause is in the BinParser module, in the arm of

Transfering Calls
I am having several users complain about not being able to use the # button when dialing into IVR's, etc, because the # key prompts for transfering the call to another extension. Is there a way to still provide transfer capability, but not use the # key? I am using SNOM 200 phones so if anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Brian

New feature: detect and avoid transfering renamed files
Hello rsyncers, I have long wished for a feature in rsync to detect files that have renamed on the sender side since the last time a sync was performed, and avoid transfering those files to the destination the same way it avoids transfering files that haven't changed. Example 1: a log directory (like /var/log) is backed up every day. Most of the time, rsync transfers very little data, but

Problem transfering incoming calls
Guys. Im having a big problem transfering incoming calls thru zap channels to some other extension. If the call is made by me to the outside via zap channels, no problem, hitting # gets me the transfer prompt, but if the call comes in thru zap and eventhough I am sending the call from the zap channel to my sip ata (GS ata 286) using Dial with wtWT as parameters, when hitting # I don't hear

Transfering large files
Hello! I've been seeing some weird problems with transfering large files from a Samba (2.0.4a[1]) server to Windows clients. Sometimes (but not always) the Windows client will stop copying the file after a few megs and claim that the share is no longer available (it is, of course). This used to happen *a lot* with the default read/write buffer of 8k. The buffer is now 250 K, which has almost

Howto grab back call transfered from SIP phone
Once in a while, someone mis-dials when transfering a call on their Snom SIP phone (using the Transfer button). Instead of sending them to, say, 1940; they mistype and enter 194 or 190 or somesuch. This ends up on the PSTN (for which three digit calls are valid); not what anyone wanted. On our old PBX (Network Alchemy Argent Office) there was a dialcode that grabbed back the last call that went

Transfering data from R list to other document format
Dear users, I want to transfer a list of results from R to some practical format, from where I can continue manipulating, copying,... the values, e.g. : list1 <- list("My first list", matrix(1:6, ncol=3), c(1,2,3,4,5,6) ) # Imagining I forgot something and want to add it to the list like: list1[[4]] <- list(c(4,4,4), "This is it") # Now I want to transfer the list to

Gigabit Samba
I'm trying to run Samba on a gigabit network. On the server side I've got Samba 2.2.1 running on an sgi Origin200 with a gigabit ethernet card plugged into a gigabit switch, and the files are being served off a fibrechannel raid array. On the client side I have a windows 2k box with a gigabit card plugged into the same switch. Both machines and the switch claim that everything is

1 file of 16000 always being updated
Hi all! I'm trying rsync synchronizing some directories with about 16.000 files. After the first synchronization, the others are transfering just the changed files, as it is expected to be, except for 1 single file, that is not changed (size or time) and is being transfered in all synchronization. The file is called JSPWiki.war, and is a java war file. I checked the size and times on both

rsync is not copying upper case files
Hi, I am running rsync on MacOS 10.3 and I want to transfer files to a linux machine, which has linux partitions and fat32 partitions. Transfering the files to the linux partition works without problems, but if I transfer them to the fat32 partition, files are ignored if all characters in the file name are UPPER CASE. - The files which rsync should transfer do not exist in the target directory.

Imap - Loging
Hello List, i'm looking for a way to increase log-level for imap-processes. Pop3 Server writes all necessary infos about mails-transfered/deleted etc. Imap-Log writes just times and ip's of Userlogins. Is there a way to increase the imap-output? The Conf-Parameters i found did not really fit my requirements. Best result would be a collected log of transfering/deleting mails for one
