xexec and dovecot 1.1
I'll test very interesting plugin xexec. It seems very nice and can be
used in many things. It's compiled perfect with dovecot 1.0, but certanly
not with dovecot 1.1. It's stopped with next error:
In file included from cmd-xexec.c:30:
xexec.h:8: error: expected specifier-qualifier-list before 'array_t'
cmd-xexec.c: In function 'cmd_xexec':

To Whomever can assist,
I am looking for anyone who has gotten OpenSsh 3.7.1p2 to build under

Error Messages after Committed Config Changes
Hi,
My Samba server (Solaris 7, 64-bit mode) with AFS option has been
running for a year. I just changed the "Max Log Size" global parameter few
times today. Each time I committed the change, I got the following same
set of error messages in my Samba log (the log.smb file):

using nls to fit a curve to data
Hi,
I am trying to fit a curve to data. My command line is:
model10=nls(offspring~((A*c^k)/gamma(k))*((degdays-alpha)^(k-1))*exp(-c*(degdays-alpha)),
start=list(A=30,k=2,c=.018,alpha=131))
I get the error message:

[LLVMdev] Access to LLVM CVS repository
Hi,
I am an intern at JPL and just started working on a new project that
involves using LLVM for model checking.
It seems that you are quite close to the LLVM 2.0 release date. Since it
is a "big" release, I'd prefer to start with the latest code. Is it
possible to get access to LLVM CVS repository?
Thank you,
Anna.

Samba4 error joining W2003 DC
Hi there,
I'm a newy at samba 4 and I'm trying to joing a samba 4 alpha 17 box to our domain as a DC so I can "drain" the domain info and use the linux box to test samba without disturbing the domain itself.
The thing is that I get an error when trying to join the server :
[root at vpdc samba]# bin/samba-tool domain join montecarlotv.com.uy DC -Uadministrador

3.0.2 AFS login problem, Solaris 2.5.1
I've been beating myself senseless trying to build OpenSsh 3.0.1 on Solaris
2.5.1 and get AFS login working.
The symptoms of the problem are: sshd builds (used --with-afs and
-with-kerberos4 - there is no PAM on this box), accepts connections from
non-AFS users, but does not accept a connection from an AFS user; the user
sees "permission denied" after entering the password.

Booting problem with memdisk + Thinkpad + USB
Hi,
I encountered a booting problem with memdisk 2.83, USB and IBM Thinkpad
T61, apparently the same issue as described here:
http://syslinux.zytor.com/archives/2008-April/009850.html
The boot process always stops after "Loading boot sector... booting...".
With debug tracers enabled, the last few output lines are:
Loading boot sector... FR<p>Dbooting...

Posix Problem, difftime
I am having a series of problems using date time data that has been converted into a POSIXt and POSIXlt classes. I have hourly time series data from 1900 that has been converted from text data.
I assume most of my problems come from a mis-underdanding of the POSIX class. My matrix named (aa) for this year is approx 8700 by 4. When I try to calculate the length of posit column ( which is the

NT User can't access share
Folks,
A remote admin is trying to add a contractor account to our NT
domain with limited rights. Unfortunately, everytime the contractor
account is removed from the DomainUsers group, the contractor
encounters the following:
\\nt-nfs-md\IPC$
and the infamous invalid password. Once the user is re-added to the
DomainUsers group, they can access the share fine.
My question is what permissions

OpenSSH, OpenAFS, Heimdal Kerberos and MIT Kerberos
Rather then implementing kafs in MIT Kerberos, I would like to
suggest an alternative which has advantages to all parties.
The OpenSSH sshd needs to do two things:
(1) sets a PAG in the kernel,
(2) obtains an AFS token storing it in the kernel.
It can use the Kerberos credentials either obtained via GSSAPI
delegation, PAM or other kerberos login code in the sshd.
The above two

Pending OpenSSH release: contains Kerberos/GSSAPI changes
(I hope this message is appropriate for these lists. If not, please
tell me and I won't do it again.)
Hi All.
There will be a new release of OpenSSH in a couple of weeks. This
release contains Kerberos and GSSAPI related changes that we would like
to get some feedback about (and hopefully address any issues with)
before the release.
I encourage anyone with an interest in

openssh & kerberos & gssapi
I have configured openssh --with-kerberos5=<path> --with-pam
--with-tcp-wrapper=<path>, but when I expire my kerberos password, I do
not get a challenge to change my password for kerberos... anyone have
any thoughts.
I tried modifying the Make file to include -DGSSAPI
-DHAVE_GSSAPI_GSSAPI_H -DHAVE_GSSAPI_GSSAPI_GENERIC_H because I noticed
that the gssapi options for both

The CentOS Project is going to be in the community space at Red Hat

our community is appropriately represented.
