(code 12) at io.c(177) error
We are using rsync to backup files from a bunch of computers to a central server using rsync in --daemon mode. I've got a problem and are looking for suggestions. I'm not a newbie to rsync and have checked the archives without getting any useable conclusions. Our old server works great - a redhat 7.2 / 2.4.18 machine. But it's getting full and there's no more updates for

Spamassassin under CentOS-6.3
Spamassassin seems to have become more-or-less non-functional in use with KMail on my server. It appears to be running OK, but only catches about 20% of my spam. I wonder if others have experienced this decline? I suspect that sa-learn is not performing properly. (I run sa-learn nightly on my spam, which is saved in ~/Maildir/.Spam/cur/ , through the default spamassassin installation.) Eg I

I am new to CentOS. How do I set a rule to so that any email coming from @ linkedin.com (and other abused locations), going to an application RT (setup on the system), will get rejected or dropped silently. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... rsync scalability [Virus checked]
Hello rsync-users, I need to transfer an PC image-file (200 to 400 MB) to 500 locations, which are equal as concurrent users on the day X. what parameters do you suggest to use on the central rsync-server? any recommendation for socket options? is it a good idea to split the file into several pieces, let?s say 10 MB ? Does this speed up the blocksum calculation or is it better to leave the

Two --bwlimit issues
Hi, I have two issues with the --bwlimit parameter to rsync which are not mentioned in the FAQ (please correct me if I am wrong): 1. When both an rsync client and an rsync daemon specify the --bwlimit parameter, the client's value overrides the server's value. This could be used in a DOS attack if the client uses a larger value than the server intended. The documentation also is

Using LDAP with samba
is it possible and how difficult is it, to use LDAP for all the user accounts and groups and password management? would this be something you would want to do? or is it better to stick with samba's initila way of dealing with users? Caleb O'Connell caleb@lincoln.midcoast.com (207)882-7792

Number of Phone Numbers per Outgoing CALL File
Is it possible to place multiple phone numbers in a single outbound .call file? If I try doing this, only the last phone number in the file is called. However, if I use 1 file per phone number, then Asterisk attempts to process all generated CALL files at once, incrementing the retry count for each that cannot be called because the designated channel is busy. For example if I have a list of 10

How does one mark all messages as read (imap4flag "seen") with sieve?
I don't use the Anti-Spam plugin; I just fire off a BASH script every four hours with crontab which iterates thru the vmail email accounts and trains Spamassassin 'per-user' accounts. If the script sounds interesting I can post it here. It probably could use a little polish though. Bill On 11/9/2016 6:49 PM, Ben Johnson wrote: > On 11/5/2016 1:22 PM, Larry Rosenman wrote:

Geo-replication broken in 3.4 alpha2?
Dear all, I'm running GlusterFS 3.4 alpha2 together with oVirt 3.2. This is solely a test system and it doesn't have much data or anything important in it. Currently it has only 2 VM's running and disk usage is around 15 GB. I have been trying to set up a geo-replication for disaster recovery testing. For geo-replication I did following: All machines are running CentOS 6.4 and using
