[LLVMdev] Linking modules across contexts crashes
I get a crash when I try to link multiple modules registered in their individual contexts. Documentation for Linker::LinkModules doesn't mention anything about contexts, and the first link succeeds. But the second link crashes. Is this not the right way to merge such modules? If not, then what is the right way? In any case, documentation for Linker::LinkModules should say if contexts are

logging problem
Yep I tried those two options, and nothing... Even if the pre-user conf files have a log file in the same directory, which I touch before trying, messages keep going to syslog... I tried with 666 permissions on rsyncd.log too just to make sure... The following is one of the user's conf file, hope theres a clue. Thanks! log file = /home/pluto/rsyncd.log <<< This is the problem!!

[LLVMdev] Linking modules across contexts crashes

This was for LTO (probably unrelated to Yuri's scenario?). 1.

Your message Re: Samba and printer comments (July 5 1999)
Yes unfortunately I do not have much luck recieving help from the SAMBA mailing list. After much playing I found something weird that was seemingly causing incorrect comments. Most printers would recieve the comment - "no entries" which originally I assumed to be the default comment given by Win95 when it could not get a proper comment. However I later found that this is not the case.

Class inheritance or virtual resources to manage apache modules
I want to start out with an apache class that will disable all modules except for a pre-defined list, thus establishing a baseline of active modules. Then as needed, other classes could enable a module that they require that would have been disabled by the baseline state. Its possible several classes may try to enable the same module (1 or more classes needing module1 could be on a single node)

Two "pre-migration" questions
I have read the migration docs. They seem to relate to migrating from one imap product to dovecot on the same server. I'm interested in migrating my Maildir-formatted email from one server to another. 1. Can I tar my ~/mail directory on serverX.com, untar it on a different physical serverY.com (initially with a different domain name), and still see my mail when I access imap.serverY.com

smbmount doesn't work
Hi, Thanks for answering my question on the new smbmount not working. I tried all variety of combinations on the commands you suggested, but they all simply do this: % smbmount -c //server/share 'mount /mnt/samba-share -n CLIENT -U user' Usage: smbmount service <password> [-p port] [-d debuglevel] [-l log] Version 2.0.3 -p port connect to the specified port

is "unintended library loading" actually possible?
Please, help me understand if 'use chroot' option in daemon config is secure enough. Rsync manual has following lines: As an additional safety feature, you can specify a dot-dir in the module's "path" to indicate the point where the chroot should occur.  This allows rsync to run in a chroot with a non-"/" path for the top of the transfer

WARNING: Break-in attempts
Greetings all, I''m forwarding a copy of an email I sent reporting attempted break-ins on my main server, earth.terran.org. I am forwarding this because I think it is relevant that folks watch for this kind of activity in their logs to catch people who "try doorknobs" in the middle of the night. After sending this email, I sent a talk request to the user, who was still logged

[LLVMdev] inline callsites whose function definitions are in different file?
LLVM (2.7 release version) provides 2 implementations for inlining function callsites: - InlineSimple.cpp (-inline): inline simple callsites according to its cost analysis - InlineAlways.cpp (-always-inline): inline all callsites that are marked with "always_inline" attribute. They are both subclasses of Inline.cpp that assumes the function's definition (body) is

Alpha Centauri crashes constantly
I'm using wine 1.2-rc5 on Xubuntu 10.04. I've been trying to get Alpha Centauri/Alien Crossfire working for a few days now and running into nothing but annoyance so far. Latest problem; AC keeps crashing. All the time. If I save at a certain point and, say make a specific series of moves next turn and it crashes, re-loading and repeating will cause it to crash again. Below is the

Never used wine
I read (some) docs got my CD set to r: with unhide set and ran setup on a couple of CD's and it went well... Wacko? If there is a file that errors are written to I could check that. But the screens kind of went in to a "Vulcan mind meld" so it was hard to tell what was going on. But It didn't crash the machine, I'm using Fedora 2. Is there an installer I should be using

Crash in sieve_extprogram_create() after dovecot/pigeonhole update
Hi all. My dovecot setup: pf at vulcan:~ ? dovecot --version 2.3.0 (c8b89eb) on Arch Linux, x86_64 (full config here: [0]) uses sieve plugin to train rspamd system as described in the wiki [1]. It used to work fine prior to 2.3.0/0.5.0 update, but now "imap" process crashes when I move spam letters from the inbox to the junk folder. I've recompiled both dovecot and pigeonhole
