Hi all, I want to copy files from a remote server to a local directory with ssh. I've some difficulties with that because on the Remoteserver I have a directory "/www/ftp" with a lot of subdirectories with each of them 4 other subdirectories. Is there anyway to keep rsync from reporting an error when attempting to sync pagefile.sys (through a samba share)? It seems like any type of exclusion of the file gets ignored, why is that? Anyway around it? Also, of experimented with the exclude-from syntax quite a bit and haven't figure out how you could just backup all .doc files on a file system and exclude everything else.
