package question
The ICAClient package requires the 32 bit versions of libXp and openmotif. I have this class defined: class icaclient{ case $architecture { i386: { package { "ICAClient": provider => rpm, source => "$kickstart/ICAClient/RHEL5/ ICAClient-11.100-1.i386.rpm", ensure => installed, }

Citrix receiver and certificates on CentOS 7
Hi, I'm currently migrating a client's workstation from OpenSUSE Leap 15.0 to my personal blend of CentOS 7 and KDE. The client has some extra software installed on his machine, and one of these applications is causing me some troubles: Citrix Receiver. Here's my old blog article on installing Citrix Receiver on OpenSUSE : *

CentOS6.6 installation failure
> I would say to eliminate issues, the first thing to make sure is that > your mailcap package is, indeed, good. Summary: it's a good package, but the wrong package for the location. I downloaded the package from a different mirror, and the install proceeds past it. However, now it stops at redhat-logos, with the same error An interesting observation: I now have several copies of

CentOS6.6 installation failure
I have been installing CentOS for years using PXE, kickstart and NFS, but the procedure fails with CentOS 6.6 for some reason. A PXE-initiated, manual install goes through all the setup steps, and once rpm installation has started, it dies after a few packages: anaconda 13.21.229 exception report Traceback (most recent call first): File "/usr/lib/anaconda/yuminstall.py", line 1006,

maildrop and multi-dbox
Hi there, I'm using Dovecot 2.0.9-1 under Arch Linux. Currently, I have Maildir configured, and I move all my emails into dovecot by using this sequence: 1) cron starts fetchmail periodically under user manfred to collect my mails from various email accounts. 2) In ~/.fetchmailrc I have configured /usr/bin/maildrop as MDA. 3) In ~/.mailfilter (used by maildrop) I have extensive filtering in

XP roaming profile problem (access denied)
Hi! I was hoping someone had seen this problem, and might be able to help me out with it; I've tried the suggestions I found in the mailing lists and on web sites, to no avail. I'm running samba 3.0.2 on RHEL 3, and XP clients seem to occasionally have problems saving the roaming profile, resulting in error messages and the use of the local profile. The problem is when renaming

dovecot pop3s delivers new messages as old (unread) messages ...
I just set up dovecot on fedora core 3 with only pop3s protocol enabled. On my client machine, I use fetchmail to get the mail and then go through procmail and eventually ready by mutt. Everything seems to work fine, except that all new emails are marked old unread emails (i.e., marked with 'O' flag instead of 'N'). This is annoying because some open source lists are so large

semaphore timeoit period expired (root is full)
I have had samba running on my freebsd box for about 2 years now, and my / partition is 50MB (it is just a fileserver with ssh and nothing more). However, recently (about a month or two ago) it disconnects itself from my LAN with warnings like: semaphore timeout has expired. I go to the console on the box and it says that the disk is full (its not, but the root directory is at 101%) I cannot

Segfault by asking for a folder?
I 'hg pull'ed and now my Dovecot segfaults when I select a particular folder. I've removed all files with 'index' in the name, so I don't think it's due to bad indexes. Turn off fetchmail warning?
Is there any way of turning off the fetchmail warning ---------------------------------- fetchmail: Warning: the connection is insecure, continuing anyways. (Better use --sslcertck!) ---------------------------------- which I get when fetching imap mail from my college department? I know they should get a root certificate, but I'm told they are looking into it, but that could take forever.

fetchmail SSL protoco; issue
I am using fetchmail to collect mail from some secondary mail accounts, among which is hotmail. So far I have used hotwayd to fetch the mail from hotmail using httpmail. Hotmail now supports pop3 access, so I decided to change fetchnail to fetch the mail directly over pop3. This works, but whatever I try, I get an error message when I run fetchmail: Invalid SSL protocol 'SSLv23'

Advice, Please.
Hello, I have a home setup where I am using Centos 4.4 as a sort of mail server. This is what I have done. I have it configured to pop mail locally. I have fetchmail configured to dl from my provider my families mail through a cron job and .fetchmailrc in their home directories. They then pop the server to retrieve their mail. They send their mail directly through the provider. I have

Hi, I am running OS X Snow Leopard on the 'sender' side and Linux (2.6.32, possibly fedora but unsure) on the 'receiver' side. Both with rsync 3.0.9.
