When operating in daemon mode, will rsync check to see which file is newer and decide which direction to transfer based on that? Example, We have 2 terminal servers, A and B. I see the Samba guide suggests using rsync to keep sysvols in sync, but this poses a problem with ID's and it is only one-way. I have been hesitant to suggest anything because of the flak I have been getting, but I do believe I have a much better solution that transfers files via SSH, is bi-directional (no more only editing group policy on one server), and does NOT set UID/GID

Hello Rowland, Louis and Min, sorry for late reply, I was really busy in the past days. As Min already wrote, I have made the same experience unfortunately. With Rowland's suggested settings it didn't solve the problem. I'm on another issue at the moment and didn't find time to check the rsync/unison process on my own, but I'll promise I'll dive into it as soon as I can.
