Grandstream GXP2160 + SRTP
Hello,
I am trying to setup a Grandstream GXP2160 IP-phone with secure calling
(SRTP).
Secure signaling SSIP for registration is working great !
I follow this guide :
https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Secure+Calling+Tutorial
But when I try to make a call with SRTP, I get stuck. There is an
initial INVITE which is anwered with a 401. There should follow a new
INVITE with a nonce,

Element-by-element multiplication operator?
Is there an element-by-element multiplication in R, like the .* operator in Matlab?
eg: A (2x3)
B (2x3)
C=A.*B
C (2x3)
C = [[a11*b11 a12*b12 a13*b13]; [a21*b21 a22*b22 a23*b23]]
I can't find one...
Thanks

rsync 2.5.5, "unexpected tag failures", Solaris 2.6 vs. 2.8, "--b locking-io" workaround
Hi,
I have been having a problem that seems related to previously reported
problems
but persists.
I am syncing from a 2.6 Solaris box to a 2.8 solaris box. All are running
rsync 2.5.5.
When I sync (commands simplified for example, always using rsh):
2.8box% rsync -e rsh 2.6box:/path/path/stuff/ /path/path/newstuff/
i.e., the 2.6 box is the server, I get spurious, persistent but inconsistent

trouble with IP500
Hello All,
I've spent a day trying to get a Polycom IP500 wokring with my Asterisk
box. I have several others that are working fine, but this one is
getting by me. Can someone on-list tell from the following SIP debug
what I've missed?
Sip read:

Samba Authentication with a windows password server
Hi all,
I'm trying to set up Samba on a client's computer so that it authenticates
the users which are accessing it via a windows domain controller and
kerberos. I've been following various tutorials and it all seems to go
through correctly but when the client tries to access the shares, it doesn't
accept his credentials and won't get past the login window.

Re: What's the best way to make use of VLAN interfaces with VMs?
Even more puzzling, I reverted back to the old configuration to confirm
what I had seen and found that it works in one direction but not the
other: i.e. from 192.168.0.110 to 192.168.0.120, but not the other way
around.
Must be something with my configuration....which I can follow up on.
So, thanks again for your help.

Working SPA 841s now return 404 Not Found for INVITES and OPTION packets from *
I don't know what's changed, but four SPA841s and a SPA3000 are no
longer answering when they get an inbound call from *.
This has been a working configuration for weeks. I *have* been fiddling
with the server config; however, the configuration is under version
control and I've reverted everything to exactly how it was when the
server was working. Doesn't fix it. I reset one of

new R package bigleaf
Dear R users,
we are pleased to announce the release of the 'bigleaf' R package. This
package is useful for the calculation of physical (e.g. aerodynamic
conductance, surface temperature), and physiological (e.g. canopy
conductance, intrinsic water-use efficiency) ecosystem properties from
eddy covariance data. All calculations are based on a 'big-leaf'
representation of the

New To Asterisk
Hello,
I am new to Asterisk, as of today. Installed on a RH9 box, with no
problems. Built with 'make samples' as to get an understanding of how
things work. Currently, I am utilizing SJPhone as a SIP client - not
interested in shelling out cash for the IP phones, until I know I have a
hold on things. I have run into a few problems I was hoping you could help
me with :
