CentOS 7 AD member having issues with AD groups
Hi guys,
I've joined CentOS 7 successfully to AD as member server, and set couple
of shares.
But, limiting access by listing groups, or forcing group write isn't
working.
Samba is clearly having issues with groups.
This is example share not working at all (constantly asking for
authentication):

firewall dilemma
Hi everyone,
I have this problem that I'm not sure what's the best solution for it. I
need your input & help...
I have an internal network behind a hardware firewall. All traffics go
thru. the firewall. One of the firewall's rules is that it doesn't allow
internal network accesses internal resources that travels outside then

IAX Won't Pass Caller ID
Hi,
We have to servers set up in two different networks. We are able to connect
calls via IAX and they work perfectly. We do not see caller ID from clients
on either side. Our Grandstream phones say Eri and our XTen phones say
Asterisk.
We did a debug and I am pasting the output from both servers below. We tried
setCallerId in several different ways. We see the value get passed to the

Routed network can't reach outside network
Greetings folks.
I've setup libvirtd on my manjaro linux laptop.
Got a couple of VM's running (Win10 and Debian10) through NAT without any
issues.
This is what the current network diagram looks like and it works fine:

Connecting to servers via IP
I'm trying to list the shares on a server outside my subnet using the
following command:
smbclient -I 10.1.1.10 -L oemcomputer
The computers IP is 10.1.1.10. Why does it go looking on broadcast for
oemcomputer and not finding it instead of connecting to the IP like I told it?
I'm probably doing something stupid!
Thanks,
Laurence

PXE over HTTP instead of TFTP - flip flopping OS boots
Is there a way to boot PXELINUX 100% over HTTP instead of TFTP? I can
pull over pxelinux.0 via HTTP (DHCP config) but all the config files
are pulled over via TFTP.
DHCPD config file example:
filename "pxelinux.0" ; # boots via TFTP
filename "http://10.1.1.10/pxelinux.0" # boots via HTTP
My goal is to alternate booting between Linux and Memtest for some
hardware stress

DNS issue with second samba DC
I have samba4 installed on two systems: ncssamba1 and ncssamba2. ncssamba1 is the PDC, ncssamba2 was joined to the domain using the instructions here: http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba4/HOWTO/Join_a_domain_as_a_DC
I had to manually add the DNS information as mentioned on that page. I can add a user and the user is replicated.
However, I have some issues with DNS resolving hostnames.

UDP Listening a Different Port
Hi all,
I am behind a firewall which only let UDP 80 go through. In order to
connect to an outside public node by UDP, I can set
...
Port = 80
...
However, an httpd is running on the public node, occupying TCP 80.
How can I configure tinc to bind on TCP 8080 but listen to UDP 80?
Redirecting UDP 80 to UDP 8080 on the public node is one method. Is
there a more elegant way to
