control point size of superscript when labeling axes with title()
Hi- A journal has asked me to make all of my text annotations on a figure at 10-point size. For the most part this is easy, e.g. by creating figures with: pdf(..., family='Times', pointsize=10) But where I have superscripts (or subscripts) in axis labels, the default seems to be to shrink the superscripted text slightly. For example this code:

Paging (I know, AGAIN)
Hey everybody, I've been trying to recreate a paging unit that we have in house that basically, when a user calls extension 44, it records their message. When they hang-up, it plays a notification tone and then plays back the message. I thought this should be easy, I have a sound card in the Asterisk box, I have chan_oss loaded and working, I planned on hooking the sound card up to the

Webmin module
Hi on the download site for asterisk, there is one directory called webmin and I presume that this contains a webmin module for Asterisk, yet this doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere. Is this unfinished work in progress? typically webmin modules are in form of .wbm packages that can be installed using webmin itself, but I couldn't find any such module in the webmin directory nor

FirewallD firewalld.wbm.gz Configure a Linux firewall using FirewallD, by editing allowed services and ports. This is likely the right tool for the job. My first attempts at Wine
I need to be sure that Wine will be able to run some of my XP applications before I commit to linux, so I installed Lucid Puppy 525 ( a cut down version of Lucid) and Wine - the default install version is set to v1.1.43, so that wasted a lot of time. I then installed Wine v1.3.13 , since the stable v1.2 wasn't on offer. I'm going to need Java Runtime Environment, so I started by

The application I am currently trying to use is PixPlant, but I have the same problems with other apps using directx or opengl (I am totally confused now) to display some content. PixPlant is a program for generating textures. It has an area in its main window where it displays

Hi, > I recently converted my employer's firewall from pure iptabes to > firewalld and looked for something similar, more along the lines of > webmin, etc. funny, my webmin installation on a banana-pi has webmin 1.831, which has support for firewalld. I am not sure, but I believe I got it directly from www.webmin.com. best regards --- Michael Schumacher

win2000 and samba
Hi, We have a samba server 2.2.4 in a RH 6.2 Linux system. I should say that the samba server is working well except for a win2000 workstation. For this win2000, the user can mount network drive to the samba server, e.g. H: to \\sambaserver\username, it asks the password, if entered correctly. it is connected. No problem at all. However, if the user reboots the win2000, the poblem comes.
