delayed write files errors
Hello Rowloand,
ok, I just keep "default" for the mounting.
I changed the path of my share :
[homes]
comment = User Home Folder
path = /home/%U
read only = no
follow symlinks = yes
wide links = yes
browseable = no
hide files = /desktop.ini/$RECYCLE.BIN/
I need Wide Links because in the share there are symbolics links to
outside the share.
Anyway, I still get the same error with all

Hello,
First of all : Happy New Year to you all :-)
I need your help for a problem.
I've 2 servers on CentOS 7: a Samba DC+AD and a Samba Files Sharing.

doveadm output format changes
It appears that doveadm output format changes every now and then,
without particular notice.
For example, the following command:
doveadm -f pager mailbox status 'messages recent' '*'
did output something like this until v2.2.24 :
mailbox: Mailbox1
messages: 58
recent: 12
^L
mailbox: Mailbox2
messages: 128
recent: 0
but switched to that in v2.2.26 :
Mailbox1
messages: 58

"doveadm altmove -r" not working ?
Hello,
I have some trouble using "doveadm altmove -r".
Regular "doveadm altmove" is OK, selected mails were moved to alternate
storage as expected. But I can't manage to get them back to original
location, "doveadm altmove -r" has no effect.
We are using Dovecot 2.3.4 (Debian Buster package).

2.2.26.0 : accessing "mdbox_deleted" content destroys indexes
Accessing or listing "mdbox_deleted" contents seems to destroy MDBOX
indexes.
Examples of commands which triggers this problem ($home being the home
directory of $user, and mail_location being mdbox:~/mdbox):
doveadm -o mail="mdbox_deleted:$home/mdbox" -f table mailbox status -u
"$user" 'messages vsize' INBOX
doveadm -v import -s -u "$user"

"doveadm altmove -r" not working ?
Hi,
Your problem might be similar to mine a long time ago. IMO behavior of
"doveadm altmove -r" command with mdbox format is different to sdbox format:
- With sdbox format, when you move back a message to primary storage
(aka default storage), only the message and the file containing it are
affected. There is nothing impacted.
- With mdbox format, a file in storage contains

[PATCH 1/1] lua: Cleaned up the dmi table structure in Lua.c32 and added all missing DMI subtables
From: Hung-chi Lihn <hlihn at google.com>
In the current Lua.c32 DMI implementation, it is a flat table with dotted
names in table entries. It also misses a number DMI sub-tables.
This patch, cleans up the DMI table structure using Lua's nested table
structure and adds all missing DMI sub-tables. If a DMI sub-table is not
supported by the hardware (not filled), then the corresponding

cumulative userdb ?
in Dovecot 2.0, is it possible to have kind of "cumulative" multiple
userdb ?
that is, for all users:
- extract some attributes (let's say: uid, gid, home) from a first
userdb (Passwd for example),
- an extract some other attributes (mail for example, but overwriting
those from the first userdb in case of redundancy) from a second userdb
(LDAP for example) ?
This is *different*

Missing devel packages?
Hello CentOS,
After performing an update on July 23, on 9 stream, I did notice
problems with egl-wayland. In the AppStream repository, the
package:
* egl-wayland-1.1.9-2.el9.x86_64.rpm
is present, but it's "-devel" counterpart seems missing.
So, if you have an older version of egl-wayland-devel installed,
it complains that it cannot upgrade "egl-wayland".

Patch for tunnelserver mode in protocol_subnet.c
Hello,
Here is a patch for protocol_subnet.c with two modifications :
- in tunnelserver mode, tinc must check subnets in the ".../hosts/owner"
config file, not in "c->config_tree" (which is the configuration
of the meta-connection from which we receive the ADD_SUBNET message).
- this checking can be made before the check of the owner, especially
before any

upgrade 1.0.15 -> 2.1.7: MBOX index compatibility and performance
Hi,
we just upgraded our mailserver from Dovecot 1.0.15 to Dovecot 2.1.7.
We use MBOX format (due to legacy compatibility), system users,
PAM+GSSAPI auth, filesystem quotas, and indexes located on a separate
filesystem:
mail_location =
mbox:~/mail:INBOX=~/mail/INBOX:INDEX=/var/cache/dovecot/indexes/%16Hu/%u
The 2.1.7 configuration files have been rewritten based on default
templates

Asterisk slow transferring calls
Hi,
Running Asterisk CVS-Head latest on a Dual P3 800 1Gb Ram.
For some odd reason now that I have the asterisk box almost to the stage
I want it, I hit a problem.
I have a te405p in the system, Zap/g1 is connected to the telco as an
ISDN 30, Zap/g4 is connected by ISDN Primary Rate to an Ericcson BP250
phone system.
When calls come in on g1 they go straight through instantaneously to the

winbind problem
Hi,
I recently upgraded samba from 3.0.11 3.0.20. It's
integrated with squid 2.5 STABLE 7 with patches for
NTLM bugs.
I am facing problem with NTLM authentication. The

Testing if all elements are equal in a vector/matrix
Hi All,
There are several replies to the question below, but I think there must
exist a better way of doing so.
I just want to check whether all the elements of a vector are same. My
vector has one million elements and it is highly likely that there are
distinct elements in the first few itself. For example:
> x = c(1,2,rep(1,100000))
I want the answer as FALSE, which is clear from the

sip phone problem
Hi all.
I have 2 ip phones (Grandstream Budgetone):
-budgetone1
-budgetone2
All two are connected to an Asterisk server.
When I make a call from budgetone1 to budgetone2, I
can speak with budgetone2 whith no problem. But when
budgetone2 hangs up, budgetone1 does not play any tone
(like busy tone). Budgetone1 seems to be still in
conversation, but what conversation!
Has anyone had a problem
