Big bug with vfs recycle causing bugs and frequent "Delayed write failure"
Hi,
I'm running samba 3.0.22 with 2000 and xp clients.
Before upgrading to 3.0.22, i had vfs recycle module running like a charm.
But since i upgraded, i have several errors "delayed write failure" on
every systems 2000
and XP(every 10 seconds), and netscape 7 can't start anymore! In fact,
it seems to have a problem
with its lock file.So i tried veto oplocks = *.lock but still

Include Exclude .. a canonical way
I'm wrestling with include/exclude rules and not finding a way to do
this:
Simplified command: rsync -avv --exclcude-from=rsync_exclude \
~/ /dest/
Backup ~/ including ~/.kde3.5/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml
but excluding everything else under ~/.kde3.5
Here are some of what hasn't worked in an EXCLUDE file.

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: remove set but unused variable.
The local variable `pclks` is defined and set but not used and can
therefore be removed.

how to save many trees within a loop?
Hi,
I would like to save many trees created in a loop as
different ones. I can plot them, but I can not get the
whole tree properties saved. I paste the script below
Also, How can I perform multivariate trees?, that is
predicting a vector o values, not a simple scalar
observation.
Thanks in advance

Hi Strahil,
We're using gluster to act as a share for an application to temporarily process and store files, before they're then archived off over night.
The issue we're seeing isn't with the inodes running out of space, but the actual disk space on the arb server running low.
This is the df -h? output for the bricks on the arb server:
/dev/sdd1 15G 12G 3.3G 79%

Thanks for the clarification.
That behaviour is quite weird as arbiter bricks should hold?only metadata.
What does the following show on host?uk3-prod-gfs-arb-01:
du -h -x -d 1?/data/glusterfs/gv1/brick1/brickdu -h -x -d 1?/data/glusterfs/gv1/brick3/brickdu -h -x -d 1 /data/glusterfs/gv1/brick2/brick
If indeed the shards are taking space -?that is a really strange situation. From which version

Hi Liam,
I saw that your XFS uses ?imaxpct=25? which for an arbiter brick is a little bit low.
If you have free space on the bricks, increase the maxpct to a bigger value, like:xfs_growfs -m 80 /path/to/brickThat will set 80% of the Filesystem for inodes, which you can verify with df -i /brick/path (compare before and after).?This way?you won?t run out of inodes in the future.
Of course, always

Hi,
We're running a cluster with two data nodes and one arbiter, and have sharding enabled.
We had an issue a while back where one of the server's crashed, we got the server back up and running and ensured that all healing entries cleared, and also increased the server spec (CPU/Mem) as this seemed to be the potential cause.
Since then however, we've seen some strange behaviour,

Hi,
Thanks for your response, please find the xfs_info for each brick on the arbiter below:

Hi,
you mentioned that the arbiter bricks run out of inodes. Are you using XFS ?Can you provide the xfs_info of each brick ?
Best Regards,Strahil Nikolov?

[PATCH V3 10/29] drm/nouveau: deprecate pci_get_bus_and_slot()
pci_get_bus_and_slot() is restrictive such that it assumes domain=0 as
where a PCI device is present. This restricts the device drivers to be
reused for other domain numbers.
Getting ready to remove pci_get_bus_and_slot() function in favor of
pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot().
Replace pci_get_bus_and_slot() with pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot()
and extract the domain number from

Accessing data
Hello,
I would like to access my data frame without one variable.
E.g.:
> colnames(x)
[1] "Besch" "Ang.m" "Arb.m" "i10" "Umsatz" "arbstd"
I can try x[,-1], but this variable must be called by it??s name.
x[,-"Besch"]
x[,!"Besch"]
attach(x)
x[-Besch]

does not work.

GlusterFS as virtual machine storage
Pavel.
Is there a difference between native client (fuse) and libgfapi in
regards to the crashing/read-only behaviour?
We use Rep2 + Arb and can shutdown a node cleanly, without issue on our
VMs. We do it all the time for upgrades and maintenance.
However we are still on native client as we haven't had time to work on
libgfapi yet. Maybe that is more tolerant.
We have linux VMs mostly

include/exclude: I miss the point
Hi all,
I thought I understand how include/exclude and their precedences work (I
read the user guide about this), but I seem to miss something.
I have 2 questions about this, separated by ======
Question 1:
--------------
I want to exclude the "hidden" directories except some sub-dirs or files:
.mybackup and its files) and the mozilla firefox bookmarks folder and its
contents
