Rollover oddity
Hello,
I've got 2 analogue lines (from SBC) coming into a TDM22B. SBC
have put rollover from the first to the second line. The rollover
works fine when handsets are connected directly to the lines (ie
when Asterisk is not involved), but when the lines are connected
to Asterisk, the rollover fails: the caller just hears the line
ringing, and the person on the first (busy) line hears call

RED on DAHDI channel
Asterisk 11.1
We have a situation where one of our incomings POTS lines will not
answer. There are 2 lines configured by the Telco as a rollover group
(rings the line that is not busy) and they feed into a Digium AEX410 on
the server. The most recent time this happened, I did a
/etc/init.d/dahdi status and saw this:
### Span 4: WCTDM/1 "Wildcard AEX410"

[PATCH] Add RCU support into Xen - Repost
This is a repost of the RCU patch I have posted some time ago.
The only change from the previous post, was to move it to a more
recent version of xen-unstable (changeset 13386).
I am planning to submit the following additional patches, after this
one is accepted:
1) rename_find_domain.patch: Rename find_domain_by_id() to
get_domain_by_id()
2) add_find_domain.patch: Add new

rsync patch
I've made a small patch to rsync that adds three options that are
useful in data-recovery situations. I don't know whether the
maintainer will want to add this to the official distribution, but he
is free to do so if he wishes. At present, I don't have anywhere to
host the patch but I wanted to make it available so it may be tested
more thoroughly.
To be honest, I haven't

------- Additional Comments From thomas@suse.de 2005-09-06 06:37 -------
Now when len is OFF_T is it possible that sum->count (which is size_t) in
sum_sizes_sqroot() will rollover too at line:
sum->count = (len + (blength - 1)) / blength; ?
When we assume all variables have all bits set:
2^64 + (2^32 - 1) / 2^32 = 2^32 + 1

Tweaks for high-bandwidth tinc
I've been using tinc to do some high bandwidth VPNs between nodes in
Amazon's EC2 environment (to work around some limitations there for
effectively loadbalancing raw TCP connections while preserving the
sources addresses, using Linux IPVS in NAT mode). The raw amount of
traffic involved is probably making this a bit of a corner case for
tinc. In the overall it has held up remarkably

Mailing list rollover
Hello,
It's been noticed that mailing list monthly rollovers didn't happen
because the machine was down when the cronjob to do the rollover would
normally have fired. I will trigger them by hand now... upshot is
that I'm not bothering to refile the first five days of May in the
correct slot. I sincerely hope that no one cares :-)

Incoming phone line rollover / hunt?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hi All,
I have a simple question about incoming phone line rollovers. How are
these usually done? Is this done at the phone company usually, or is
this something that Asterisk or channel bank is capable of? I just need
someone to give me a brief explanation how it usually works, and if
someone was implementing an Asterisk system, how they would go

rollover simulation
I am trying to perform a "rollover" when the primary number is busy. This is
coming from a POTS line. Apparently I need call waiting on the POTS line as
I get immediate busy from the FXS if I don't have it. So my question is
this. I have an Aastra 480I CT. The call forward when busy here seems pretty
straight forward. Choose the mode as busy enter the extension in the forward
number

Multiple multiline sip phones ringing.
how would one dial multiple multiline sip phones (cisco 7960) and
making sure that all the phones ring on the next available line
appearance?
I'm currently using the local channel to accomplish this but I'm
having some trouble. Here is the configs:
each cisco 7960 phone has six registrations in sip.conf, 1XX1 thru
1XX6, normaly when an extension is dialed the following happens:

Assigning qemu process to cgroups
I had a go at writing a patch, but I think it's possible already
without any patch.
After launch you can get the PID of the qemu subprocess:
guestfs_get_pid (g);
--> returns PID
You can use Linux to map this to a list of thread IDs:
ls /proc/$PID/task/
--> returns a list of thread IDs
[Yes, this is potentially racy, but in reality qemu has already
started up fully after
