Can't reset password from windows 2000, or from the samba pdc. Error from samba pdc: machine127.0.0.1 rejected the password change: Error was : RAP86:The specified password is invalid.
Salim, Yes I do have permission to run the passwd command as a local user, I can change the unix password just fine. It is when I do the smbpasswd command that that error comes up. Thanks for looking at this! Tony --- Salim Zakharia <Salim@mdsuae.ae> wrote: > Try to check if users have permission to run: > /usr/bin/passwd let user > try to change his password locally on

Charset conversion problem on OS X (Fwd: Ogg and FLAC meta-data on OS X)
Greetings, There is currently an open bug report for vorbis-tools, but also affecting the Flac tools supplied by Xiph on the OS X platform (which I suspect uses the same code): accented characters are corrupted during read/write, to the effect that manipulation of track metadata that includes accented characters result in the corruption of the involved fields. I contacted the Xiph developer

[LLVMdev] [repository] Make LLVM repository Git-clonable
Hi, As a Linux package maintainer I tend to follow LLVM mostly towards the end of each release cycle; nevertheless, I sometimes need to keep track of multiple LLVM branches at the same time. It would be great if I could use Git's SVN to clone the repository once, and then have the full version history available locally in a compact format. As a bonus, this will reduce the load on the server

compiler-rt uses non-existent macro: __SOFT_FP__
A handful of files in compiler-rt/builtins use the macro "__SOFT_FP__". All the uses are along the same lines. Here's a representative example from compiler-rt/lib/builtins/fixdfdi.c: #ifndef __SOFT_FP__ // Support for systems that have hardware floating-point; can set the invalid // flag as a side-effect of computation. ... #else // Support for systems that don't have

variadic functions on X86_64 should (conditionally) save XMM regs even if -no-implicit-float
Thanks for reviving this topic! Interestingly we have essentially the same fix you mention below ( https://reviews.llvm.org/D62639) as a local change in our Wind River version of LLVM. The reason we didn't try to push it upstream (and in fact have considered removing it) is due to an unfortunate side-effect which is either "expected" or a "bug" depending on your
