How to annotate lattice plots
I am creating a lattice plot with
with(ordgdp, xyplot(delivery~AAR | GDP_ID, xlab="AAR", ylab="Actual
Arrival Rate"))
which works, and gives me 48 plots, one for each GDP_ID.
But I would like to put the number of hours that each GDP lasted on the
relevant plot. This is given by the following table:
>gdphrs
GDP_ID
21273 21288 21293 21294 21297 21303 21361 21399 21415 21436

Switching from webrick to mongrel
I got tired of restarting my puppetmaster when it stopped responding and
finally switched to mongrel last night.
When running under mongrel, what sort of concurrent connection rates are
people able to get? I dont know how many individual puppetmaster
processes I should spawn, or how to tell when I should span more.
Perhaps I need more than two, because this morning I had a look at how

flash, before_filter and redirect_to
I leave a notice in the flash and do a redirect from a before_filter.
Can someone confirm that the first request after this, i.e. the page I
redirect to, doesn''t/isn''t supposed to clear the flash?

ident daemon: oIdentd creating a lot of processes
hi! all,
i'm using oidentd-2.0.8 installed through /usr/ports/security/oidentd
for ident authentication
what puzzled me is when im starting the daemon using the script
provided at /usr/local/etc/rc.d/oidentd.sh it will create a lot of
process ID and my system will become slow
CPU resources will turn upside down rapidly from 90+% idle to always 0% idle
this is the PIDs while querying daemon
