Exit code 23 for Rsync ?
I seem to get an exit status 23 once or twice a day, or about 2 times out of 50 runs. 23 is not listed in the documentation. Can anybody clue me into what the 23 error is ??? Samba 4.6.2 does not inherit setgid bit (anymore)
thanks for suggestion, in other words you use only ACLs for users denying all for groups, unfortunately we had many group such as domain users, secretary, finance, etc belonging to users for which we need to apply at least 770 in order to gain a simplified permission management using groups the actual dirty workaround I applied was to track new files/dir by tailing with follow ( tail -f ) a

OCFS not releasing space?
I have noticed that OCFS is not updating the filesystem space stats when datafiles are reduced in size: is this Bug 62, and if so is there an expected fix date? ocfs-2.4.9-e-enterprise-1.0.11-1 ocfs-support-1.0.10-1 ocfs-tools-1.0.10-1 Linux sgl43d-122 2.4.9-e.35enterprise #1 SMP Wed Jan 7 15:11:27 EST 2004 i686 unknown bytes name 2097152000 /data/oracle/QSG40/u01/dtr_med_i_02.dbf /dev/sdc1

ZFS Corruption
Please reply directly to me. Seeing the message below. Is it possible to determine exactly which file is corrupted? I was thinking the OBJECT/RANGE info may be pointing to it but I don''t know how to equate that to a file. # zpool status -v pool: u01 state: ONLINE status: One or more devices has experienced an error resulting in data corruption. xyplot() with segments() superposed?
In the hypothetical example below, how do I add two segments() into the two panels, respectively? Say segments(x0=5, y0=10, x1=5, y1=20) on the left and segments(x0=15, y0=-10, x1=15, y1=-2) on the right? Many thanks in advance, Yuelin Li. ps. part of the code came from a solution given by Deepayan Sarkar. ------------------- library(lattice) set.seed(12345) x <- 0:20 y.male.obs <- - 1.2

ROracle issue with shared library and RMySQL
Hello, Someone posted this same issue back in May 2003 and hasn't yet resolved the situation. I hope someone can provide some additional light. After starting R I attempt to load the ROracle library and receive the following message: > library(ROracle) Error in dyn.load(x, as.logical(local), as.logical(now)) : unable to load shared library

predict.drm not generating confidence intervals
R-helpers, I recently submitted a help request for the predict.drm function found in the drc package. I am still having issues with the function and I am submitting reproducible code hoping that somebody can help me figure out what is going on. -------- library(drc) # Fit a 4 parameter logistic model to ryegrass dataset fit <- drm(rootl ~ conc, data = ryegrass, fct = LL.4()) summary(fit) #

Moving ocfs file system to a new SAN
Hi, We are currently rolling over our SAN (FC4700 to CX700) and have now reached the data migration stage. I need to move the data files on my current /u01 ocfs file system (on FC4700) to a new ocfs file system (on CX700) which I want to keep as the same /u01 mount point on the hosts. With a normal file system I would just mount the new file system to a temporary mount point, copy the data,

... ...") pero desde

"No previous versions" - GPFS 3.5 and shadow_copy2
Hi all, At some point recently my customers can no longer see GPFS snapshots under the Windows Previous Versions tab. It simply says "No previous versions available". If a fileset is exported with the flag "force user = root" then Previous Versions *are* displayed. [2016/07/06 10:07:35.602080, 3] ../source3/smbd/vfs.c:1322(check_reduced_name) check_reduced_name:

OCFS file system used as archived redo destination is corrupted
we started using an ocfs file system about 4 months ago as the shared archived redo destination for the 4-node rac instances (HP dl380, msa1000, RH AS 2.1) . last night we are seeing some weird behavior, and my guess is the inode directory in the file system is getting corrupted. I've always had a bad feeling about OCFS not being very robust at handling constant file creation and deletion

R2HTML Report number format, or Better Way?
Here I am again with question I'll feel foolish for asking, when I see the answer. I'm trying to produce a report and here's where I get stuck: How do I get R2HTML to produce the same number format? Particularly remove the decimal places for Par and Sal. Are there better methods to produce this type of report? Thanks, L.A. R version 2.10.0 XP

R_using non linear regression with constraints
I ran the following script. I satisfied the constraint by making a*b a single parameter, which isn't always possible. I also ran nlxb() from nlsr package, and this gives singular values of the Jacobian. In the unconstrained case, the svs are pretty awful, and I wouldn't trust the results as a model, though the minimum is probably OK. The constrained result has a much larger sum of squares.

líneas sobre un mapa
Gracias Emilio y Jorge.

rgl install problem on Solaris 10 X86
Hi, Could you help me to install the rgl package on Solaris 10 x86? I tried and got the following error messages. When I compiled my R as 64bit, I used the SUN ProW compilers. However, gcc seems to being used below as well as missing some information. Thank you in advance, Dongseok > install.packages("rgl") --- Please select a CRAN mirror for use in this session --- *
