Greets. I thought I saw someone asking for problem reports against 2.5.5. Red Hat 7.1 + errata with rsync 2.5.5 from tgz sources. I use the rsync command: rsync -rltv --partial --delete --delete-excluded" \ rsync://rsync.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ \ /var/ftp/pub/mirrors/kernel.org/ I get the following error: rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (1493971 bytes read so far)

Excludes in /etc/rsyncd.conf
Thought that you are able to add a simple - + with paths or file names at the bottom of a file and run an rsync and those are then recognized inclusions or exclusions from the synchronization -- Jason G Helfman Network Administrator BizRate.com 310.754.1264 desk

SPSS data import: problems & work arounds for GSS surveys
I'm using R 2.8.1 on Ubuntu 8.10. I'm writing partly to ask what's wrong, partly to tell other users who search that there is a work around. The General Social Survey is a long standing series of surveys provided by NORC (National Opinion Research Center). I have downloaded some years of the survey data in SPSS format (here's the site:

importing explicitly declared missing values in read.spss (foreign)
There is a problem when importing an spss-file containing explicitly declared missing values in R using the read.spss function from the foreign package. I'm not sure these problems are the same in every version of spss, I am using the latest version 16.0.2. I included http://www.nabble.com/file/p18776776/missingdata.sav missingdata.sav and

Ever see a stata import problem like this?
Greetings Everybody: I generated a 1.2MB dta file based on the general social survey with Stata8 for linux. The file can be re-opened with Stata, but when I bring it into R, it says all the values are missing for most of the variables. This dataset is called "morgen.dta" and I dropped a copy online in case you are interested http://www.ku.edu/~pauljohn/R/morgen.dta looks like this

Join 2012 Server R2 as member to NT domain
Wow, this is great. However, we need to use DNS. If we enable it AFTER the computer has joined the domain, would it keep working, or DNS is no avail in W8.1? Linux fs ACL ignored for Samba4 share in Windows?
This command lists all directories in iss_num. However the . (iss_num itself) has drwxrwxr-x Now for the incriminating file example that shows abnormal ACL in Windows: the file resides in iss_num/am/uz and has -rwxrwxrwx So there is no + in listing for share directory nor for files in the directory structure. Hello, I'm using Samba 4.0.5 in Debian Wheezy as a member server of a DC (in Debian Wheezy too with Samba 4.0.5) and the clients are Windows7 Pro. The users use shares in the member server. Sometimes, after the logoff of the users in the Win7 clients, there are connections with the member server whiches never stop. I can see it with the "smbstatus" command which point PID out to me

Impossible to use any recent asterisk version with chan_sip
Hello, I'd like to know if anyone of you is finding my same problems using any recent asterisk version, after 13.7 / 13.8 with chan_sip. If I use any recent asterisk version, after just few seconds asterisk completely locks up, stopping processing SIP/UDP packets. Nothing is written in the asterisk log, but if I run "netstat -nap | grep 5060" I see the UDP buffer filled up. If I
