rsync 2.5.2 doens't compile on Tru64 5.1 and FIFO, socket files
Hi all, I have rsync 2.5.1 (with a patch from albert chin - china@thewrittenword.com) installed OK on Tru64 5.1 UNIX. When I run rsync, it doesn't work with special files (FIFO, socket,...) Here is the error: mknod cluster/members/member1/dev/binlogdmb : Invalid argument mknod cluster/members/member1/dev/log : Invalid argument mknod cluster/members/member1/dev/printer : Invalid

Suspicious sizes by different C compilers
Hi all, On my Alpha box running Tru64 5.1, rsync-2.5.4 compiled by GNU gcc 3.0.1 anh GNU make 3.79.1 has this size: 4562848. The same version of rsync compiled by Compaq C compiler V6.3-028 and Compaq make has this size: 655424. It is about _7 times_ smaller! I did a quick test and they seem both working OK. Is that normal to see a huge difference in binary size produced by gcc and vendor's

100% CPU utilisation
Dovecot (0.9.11) consumes 100% CPU utilisation when accessing (either pop or imap) one of my mailboxes. It doesn''t happen with other mailboxes. The mailbox has about 500 mails while others have many more. They are all in mbox format. OS: OpenBSD-3.5 with all patches MTA: Sendmail-8.12.11 It happened with other RCs of dovecot-0.9.11 Configured as: ./configure --without-pam

I had already checked these files (smb.conf, krb5.conf, hosts) and they match each other, but the error still appears... Is there anything else I can check? New feature in app_queue: Give members a penalty time for not answering (help testing)
Hi, I've uploaded a new patch at https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=16722which adds a new option to queues.conf. The new option is notpresent-penalty, which is an amount of seconds to wait before calling a agent that doesn't answer, again. This feature is especially nice if you are using penalties on members of a queue. I would be very happy if someone could help me test this

Bug in compile of rsync 2.5.4 on Tru64 UNIX V5.1a using cc
Greetings, here is the output of the 'configure' step and the compile step (using the Compaq cc compiler that comes with Tru64 V5.1A. The configure reported success and most of the compile steps cam through error/warning free except for the one that stumbled. Can someone help me out here? I am willing to provide a binary for Tru64 V5.1A if we can swat this bug. We depend greatly on Rsync

I loose incoming call after transfer
Hello list. An incoming call goes to the queue. Then is routed to a free SIP-member1. When this SIP-member1 transfers the call to another SIP-member2, and this SIPmember-2 rejects the call, then the communication is lost. How can I make the call go back to the SIP-member1 ? Or maybe back to the queue ? To transfer we use the 'transfer'-button on the Grandstream/YeaLink IP-phone.

Rsync 2.5.5: FreeBSD mknod can't create FIFO's
The following patch (adapted to rsync 2.5.5 from the one posted in Dec. 2000, http://lists.samba.org/pipermail/rsync/2000-December/003349.html) is necessary to prevent rsync from failing on creating FIFOs or UNIX sockets on FreeBSD. Any chance for it to be integrated in a future release of rsync? Thomas. diff -ur work/rsync-2.5.5/config.h.in work.patch/rsync-2.5.5/config.h.in ---

concat and ordering
I''m attempting to work with the puppetforge haproxy module. The module uses concat and I get how it works, but I''m having some problems with the sequencing. What the module does is: For the listener: order => "20-${name}" // ${name} is the name of the listening service For the balancermember order => "20-${listening_service}-${name}" //

samba member logon.. question.
wel, i was thinking about the following.. AD backend: member1 = fileserver with only company data. linux and windows users. member4 = database server with linux and windows users, nfs-kerberos connected with member1. member5 = webserver server with linux and windows users, nfs-kerberos connected with member1. ( no external web server only internal ) RID backend: member2 = profiles and user
