Are there issues between different versions of rsync? Specifically I have a 2.4.6 on solaris 8 pushing to a 2.3.0 on solaris 2.6 over ssh(F-Secure version). I am trying to use rsync 2.4.6 to try creating a backup using another locally connected hard disk. Thing copy, but sometimes the group is eith numeric (valid). Often the owner is not even shown.
