Flac multi channel
I see :( That what I would call a good struct size optimisation. Please tell me there was another reason behind this being only 3 instead of 8 or 16 bits, right ? 2017-01-25 18:30 GMT+01:00 Tor-Einar Jarnbjo <tor-einar at jarnbjo.name>: > Hello Olivier, > > the limitation is in the file format itself, as the number of channels is > encoded in a 3 bit field in the streaminfo

UDP in flash
Flash does support interactive audio/video, not only streaming. And there is a new protocol called RTMFP in flash 10, which is on top of UDP. Announce of our Xen project; Routing simulation with Einar
Hello all, Some time before Christmas, a project was started. The task was to enhance an existing LiveCD solution with User-mode Linux. A number of requirements was stated, where the greatest challenge was to fit 10 virtual routers within an old no-name PC with only 256MB Ram. And the solution must still be run from a LiveCD. Thanks to Xen, the task was possible to complete. -But, what does it

[LLVMdev] Cross compile LLVM using gcc (powerpc and x86)
Hi there, I hope this is the right list. I have been trying to cross compile the LLVM 3.2 for our x86 target by using i586 cross compiler provided by Oselas toolchain (http://www.pengutronix.de/oselas/toolchain/index_de.html). I have cross-compiled multitudes of 3rd party projects before and usually I can apply similar methods to compile the most of them. I have however not been able to figure

Drupal/MySQL performance in Xen and OpenVZ
Hi, We are considering a transition from OpenVZ to Xen for our web server infrastructure. The primary task performed by the virtual servers is to run a number of Drupal sites with a MySQL backend. The webserver and MySQL servers are on separate virtual hosts. We also have a number of smaller hosts running on the same hardware (a couple of dev-servers, a logging-and-monitoring server, a secondary

Problem with a printer
I've got cups setup, to do the printwork. A setup, that was used with 2.2.3a of samba (same smb.conf), but it fails with 2.2.5. When using smbclient or the spoot client to connect to the samba printer resource, it tells me that it's a bad network name.
