Recover data from ext3 filesystem
Hello everyone,
I came back from a long vacation the other day to a RH 7.3 system that
would not boot. My situation is similar to Eddy's post "Seriously
corrupt ext3 root filesystem - help?" from a couple of days ago.
I can mount the drive in read-write and read-only modes. I can get into
some of the directories and get certain files off of the disk. But, if

wtmp repair - painless
hi,
from reiserfs it`s known to happen quite often - wtmp may be corrupted;

I have a file server with the following structure:
/dist/typeA
/dist/typeB
/dist/typeC

Inside /dist/typeA the config files have

Now on to my qestion:
I am using Shorewall among other machines on an new server where we

Docs - QSG & Samples Issues
Attached is file "QSG-issues-1.0.txt" containing a numbered and
commented list of issues collected from contributors and recent lists
activity. It might be cool to have these issues in some spiffy issue
tracking system like RT or something, but for a low tech start it''ll
probably suffice.
COMMENTS - IMHO (no particular order):
I have searched the archives for additional

is turned on. Can anybody
kind to confirm with me?
Our network is using a mix of Win2k server, Win2k Pro, Win98, Win95 and
WinMe machines, where the
Win2k server is the domain controller and terminal service applications
server and the Samba is a member
fileserver of the domain. All workstations logon and mount the samba file
services.
We'd like to check if the problem could be solved by
