Easy solution for custom firewall rules-

I read over those resources and I did what I thought would be correct,
but it's not having any effect.
I created a new nwfilter like this:
<filter name='allow-virbr2-vpn' chain='ipv4' priority='-700'>
<rule action='accept' direction='in' priority='500'>

Re: Easy solution for custom firewall rules- is it possible?
Hi,
libvirts nwfilter module can achieve that.
I'm currently working on opt-out patches to disable that functionality
if wished. I also don't use firewalld.
It's both paternalizing and annoying and takes away user flexilibity in
exchange for nothing.
anyways
Check the nwfilter page to write own filters for the beginning:

Unable to locate IOAPIC for GSI 2
(I accidently (cross) posted this also in the xen-bugs mailing list. This
wasn''t my intention. Sorry for that)
Hi,
I have two kernels
vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-amd64
vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64
As you can see, distributions are the same, the latter differs by loading
xen stuff.
When booting the xen kernel (vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64) I noticed a problem
which does not occur in the non

Easy solution for custom firewall rules- is it possible?
Hello All-
I've looked in several places and haven't found an answer to this
question: is it possible to have libvirt add custom rules to iptables
for virtual network interfaces? I took a look at the "Firewall and
Network Filtering in Libvirt" page and it seems overly complicated for
what I want to do.
Given an interface virbr2 and its network 192.168.4.0/24, libvirt

funny,
my webmin installation on a banana-pi has webmin 1.831, which has
support for firewalld.
I am not sure, but I believe I got it directly from www.webmin.com.

Help with Webmin Module
Hello People
I''m new here, so forgive-me for any "newbie talk".
My client is running Debian Sarge (Stable), with Shorewall and Webmin. I want
to make things easier for them and tried to use the webmin-shorewall module.
The thing is - the installed shorewall is 3.0.5 (package from testing) but the
webmin module only understands (and builds) the old shorewall 2.x file

Booting problem after update, how to track order of starting services
Hi.
I have updated system/server that worked for a long time. It was upgrade
from 6.4 to latest.
After restart, system freezes after most/all of the daemons are booted.
From interactive mode I found out that services starting are:
...
...
atd
jexec
atieventsd
libvirtd
certmonger
libvirt-guests
local
nxsensor
nxserver
webmin
As soon as I allow webmin to pass, system freezes. BUT, if I stop

Webmin Shorewall Patch
My description of the incorrect use of the term ''SNAT'' on the Static NAT
Webmin page was apparently misunderstood. Attached is a patch against the
Webmin-1.070 Shorewall module that corrects this problem and also adds the
''DNAT-'' action for rules.
To apply the patch, you will need the ''patch'' utility:
