[v2v PATCH] tests: fix location to generated images
Some of the libvirt XMLs for tests refer to a generated phony disk image, and so far the relative path used worked almost by chance. (For each disk, the path to it was ../test-data/etc, and since the overlay pointing to it is stored directly in $LIBGUESTFS_CACHEDIR, which is $buildir/tmp, then the relative path was resolved.) Instead, have configure place the right top-level directory in those

[PATCH 1/6] tests: use fake rhsrvany.exe
The tests that depend on rhsrvany.exe being available, actually don't need it to be the real one: all they want is the file being present. So, instead of skipping the tests if the real rhsrvany.exe is not found, store a fake one in the repository, and point $VIRT_TOOLS_DATA_DIR at its location. [PATCH nbdkit] golang: Compile against the local nbdkit build, not installed.
When compiling when an older nbdkit is installed, the build would fail because certain symbols such as .get_ready were not defined: ../../src/libguestfs.org/nbdkit/nbdkit.go:541:8: plugin.get_ready undefined (type _Ctype_struct_nbdkit_plugin has no field or method get_ready) This happens because we were using the installed <nbdkit-plugin.h> rather than the local copy. [PATCH 1/2] valgrind: Use --trace-children=no --child-silent-after-fork=yes
When we are valgrinding we don't really care about the child processes, which might be qemu, libvirtd, etc. So disable tracing into children (at least, as far as is possible with valgrind, which is not entirely disabling it, but suppressing it). --- m4/guestfs_progs.m4 | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/m4/guestfs_progs.m4 b/m4/guestfs_progs.m4 index

[PATCH v4 01/17] tests: Introduce test harness for running tests.
We would like to have a more flexible way to run tests, including running them on an installed copy of libguestfs, running them in parallel, and being able to express dependencies and ordering between tests and data files properly. Therefore introduce a test harness (test-harness) program which can run tests either from the locally built copy, or from an installed copy of the tests (in
