Polygon
Hi everybody,
I have a matrix with 3 columns (Date, MeanArea and SdArea). I want to draw a
figure showing the variable MeanArea in terms of the Date. But instead to
use the variable SdArea as bar error, I want to use ?polygon error?. I use
this code but the output does not seem good.

Draw a nomogram after glm
Hi all R users
I did a logistic regression with my binary variable Y (0/1) and 2
explanatory variables.
Now I try to draw my nomogram with predictive value. I visited the help of R
but I have problem to understand well the example. When I use glm fonction,
I have a problem, thus I use lrm. My code is:
modele<-lrm(Y~L+P,data=donnee)
fun<- function(x) plogis(x-modele$coef[1]+modele$coef[2])

exponential model with decreasing
Hi everybody,
I try to do an exponential model with decreasing. In my data, there is no
data missing but there negative values. I adapted this following code whose
the origin code comes from in this forum:
Regress<-read.table("C:\\Users\\Regression.csv",sep=";",dec=",",header=TRUE)
Regress
f <- function(x,a,b) {a * exp(b * x)}
x<-Regress$EWT

Problem with loop
Hi,
I try to build a loop difficultly.
I have in a folder called Matrices several files (.csv) called Mat2002273,
Mat2002274 to Mat2002361.
I want to calculate for each file the mean of the column called Pixelvalues.
I try this code but as result, I have this message: Mat2002273 not found

Problem with legend
HI,
This code is part of a code I used to do a linear regression:
>points(var1~var2,data=Regress,pch=21,bg="grey")
>reg11<-lm(var1~var2,data=Regress)
>abline(lm(var1~var2,data=Regress),lty=2,lwd=2,col="grey")
>legend("topleft",legend=
>c("NDII from composite",

Save figure in pdf
Hi,
I created a figure with R and I want to save it in .pdf. I used this code:
> pdf("res.pca.pdf",width=10,height=8)
> library(FactoMineR)
> res.pca<-PCA(acp)
> res.pca
> dev.off()
When I go in my folder, I find an empty file ( 0 Ko).
Do you know where is the problem.
Thank you in advance

Not colour but symbols
Hi,
Instead to put colour in my histogram,
I want to put symbols like lines, dots etc.
Do you know the function that does it?
Thank you in advance

Different Estimated values between R and Excel
Hi,
I used simple linear regression with the R software and EXCEL on the same
data. Although , I find the same R2=0.84, I find different estimated values
(intercept and slope). For the R software (slope =0.0009, Intercept =
-0.1478), for EXCEL (slope =927.7, Intercept = 154,41).
When I use the estimated values from the R software, the results seem bad,
however the results of Exel seem correct.

To overlay my raster and its boundary
Hi
I want to overlay my raster and its boundary which is a shapefile.
When I used thise code separately, all is ok:
# Open raster
>Image<-read.table("C:\\Users\\Documents\\Nouveau\\Frequence.txt",sep="",dec=",",header=TRUE)
>testo<-rasterFromXYZ(Image)
>plot(testo)
>testo2 <- aggregate(testo,fact=10, fun=mean)
>plot(testo2)

Trellis graph and two colors display
Hello,
I would like to display two groups of dots in different colors or style and additionnaly a linear regression for all the dots in
panel plots of a Trellis graph. Actually to get in each panel the equivalent of:
plot(x[mois==3],y[mois==3],col="blue")
points(x[mois==9],y[mois==9],col="red")
abline(lm(y~x), col="green")
"mois" being a grouping

What goodness-of-fit measure for robust regression ?
Hi,
i. After estimating some coefficients using robust regression with rlm() or lqs(), I wonder if there exist some measures of the goodness-of-fit as those for standard linear model(R2)... or evenly if it's a statistics non-sense to look for since I do not find any mention of that in differents chapters on robust and resistant regression or in severals R documentation (Fox, Ripley and

With ARI, is it possible to create (originate) a call and pass both the caller id name and number?
Hi Dan,
i would do something like this (it is not a copy of what we are doing but
an example of how i would do it)
Important here is the "--data" and "-H" Option as well as the "variables"
section within the Body. I added the callerid function here as well as it
is the sample in the asterisk wiki.
curl -v -H "Content-Type: application/json" -u

diablo 1 fun and troubles
I have installed Diablo 1 lately and found Wine can't load the game
succesfully. I see a few frames of Blizzard's intro, then it freezes.
With Cedega 4.0 it works pretty well> I played for a couple hours then found
later I can't load my games back. Ain't that funny? It seems to be a menu
problem. Another thing I noticed with Cedega is, multiplayer hangs really
quick.

Devant apprendre R tout seul, je suis tomb? sur un mail de vous disant que vous

J'aurai essentiellement ? utiliser des algo de clustering (SOM ou Nu?e dyna) sur

Load issues using AGI
Hi all,
we have just upgraded from Asterisk 11 to Asterisk 16.
After porting all the config to 16 we figured out some major load problems.
the majority running of our Asterisk instances is still having Asterisk 11
so we can compare load handling on both versions.
On the same hardware configuration we see load differences that Asterisk 16
takes four times the load as Asterisk 11 (on 11 we see

With ARI, is it possible to create (originate) a call and pass both the caller id name and number?
Hi Dan,
as far as PPI and PAI Header, we use the channel Vars in order to do that.
In Latest Asterisk you can set Channel vars within the create command in
the Body. Just set the PJSIP(add,PAI) as you would do it in Dialplan.

PJSIP reInvite
Hi All,
We are using asterisk 16.5 and having an issue with the first re-invite
after the call has been established.
We can see the call gets up and you see in the logs the bridge type has
changed and after that a re-invite is triggered.
Is there any possibility to deactivate this kind of reInvite? We have some
race conditions while have multiple asterisk in the call flow and the

GLM problem

I have a dataframe with 6 qualitative variables divided in 33 modalities, 2 qualitatives variables and 78 lines. I use a glm to know wich variables have interactions... I would like to know if its normal that one (the first in alphabetical order) of the modalities of each qualitatives variable doesn't

Problem with varpart (vegan library)
Hi,
I did a linear regression with 5 explanatory variables. Now, to see the
contribution of each variable, I use varpart from vegan library. But
varpart don?t accepts my 5 explanatory variables, it accept only 4.
1- How must I do to use my 5 explanatory variables?
2- Is it the sum of variance fraction of each variable must be equal to 1.
Thanks for your help.
