[rggobi] ggplot like pdf output
Good day everyone. I have a question concerning *ggobi* and
*rggobi*package. I am using R version 2.13.2 and Ubuntu 11.04. I am
new to ggobi
and I'm reading the book *Interactive and Dynamic Graphics for Data Analysis
*. The book was published 2007.
My question is: how can I export a graph for *rggobi* to pdf to include it
in latex. For example: I have lots of variables in ggobi and I need to

ggobi and plug-ins issues
Dear all
I have issues with loading ggobi plug-ins in my Debian testing. In a R
--vanilla session I get a lot of error messages about being unable to
load the plug-ins (see at the end).
I understand that this issue has been previously addressed [1][2], and
the solution implemented in Debian:

rggobi error
Hi R Expert Community,
I need your help in getting rggobi and ggobi to work.
I tried running ggobi under Rattle's Explore tab and interactive option but got an error. I then tested library('rggobi')and noticed I get the same error. So it's not Rattle specific.
I have GGOBI and rggobi installed on my machine. Below is the info.
At first I got Error 'A' below. Then I

Changes to batchSOM from 1.9.1 to 2.0.1
Has the algorithm used by batchSOM for hexagonal topology changed in some
way between R 1.9.1 and 2.0.1? In comparing between the two versions, I
get identical results for rectangular topology, but very different results
for hexagonal topology. (I tried to find release notes for the VR bundle
that might explain the changes, but was unable to locate these anywhere.)
Here's the script I

R-2.0.1 and Rggobi
Hi,
I've had no luck with the combination of R-2.0.1 and Rggobi/gobi (1.1-1
and 1.0-1 beta). I've tried a default configuration of ggobi, as well
as one with all the plugins enabled. I'm using RedHat 9 Linux.
The problem I'm experiencing is a segmentation fault when library.dynam
is called from .First.lib
ggobi appears to work OK from the command line. I had an earlier

Rggobi compilation error: display.c
On a ubuntu linux computer (Feisty, i386), I compile R and additional
packages from source. The compiler is gcc 4.1.2.
The problem is, I can run "sudo R" and successfully compile all
packages (e.g., MASS, lattice) except rggobi. The error seems to be
in display.c. My ggobi is in /usr/local/, which R can find. I don't
think this is a dependence issue because install.packages(...,

Help with SOM membership
Hi all,
I originally posted this to the bioconductor group, but maybe it's better
suited to the r-help...
I'm using som() to partition samples of gene expression data into clusters.
The point is to classify control vs. experimental cases (sample clustering).
The original matrix was 22283 x 8. The 8 samples have 4 controls and 4
experimentals.
I transposed the matrix so that its dim

Hi,
I have an old version of the Rggobi package which now wont load (R

Does anybody know where I can get the latest version of RSggobi or

Thanks,
