undefined symbol: o_stream_switch_ioloop
Hi,
running dovecot-2.0.14 under Fedora 14 with kernel 2.6.35.14-103.fc14.i686.PA
I've found a strange error in log which I've nerver observed before when
startung dovecot:
auth-worker: Error: dlopen(/usr/local/dovecot/lib/dovecot/auth/libauthdb_imap.so) failed: /usr/local/dovecot/lib/dovecot/auth/libauthdb_imap.so: undefined symbol: o_stream_switch_ioloop
Dovecot seems to work normal

Reproducible SIGSEGV when Dovecot 2.3 compiled against glibc-2.28
Hi,
The link to the release notes seems should have an 'l' on the end:
Try: https://www.sourceware.org/ml/libc-alpha/2018-08/msg00003.html
This with gdb:

[LLVMdev] Branch Instruction layout
Given an instruction like this: br i1 %tmp12, label %bb5, label %bb6
I'm confused as to why Operand(1) = bb6 and not bb5 and why Operand(2) is
bb5 and not bb6.
Why in the instruction does the true path always list first but when
accessing the operands of the instruction, it is backwards? Is there a
particular reason for this?

Error: Corrupted index cache file /xxx/yyy/zzz/indexes/.INBOX/dovecot.index.cache: invalid record size
Hi all,
I got a problem with a Dovecot IMAP/POP installation.
Since a recent failure of our distributed file system (no loss of data
btw), Dovecot seems to have a problem with index cache files.
For a
lot of accounts, I have this error in logs:
Error: Corrupted index
cache file /xxx/yyy/zzz/indexes/.INBOX/dovecot.index.cache: invalid
record size
If I delete all files from /indexes/

Virtual Folder configuration problem.
I'm attempting to create a virtual inbox that contains all unread
messages from the user's Maildir.
I created a conf file called 80-virtual.conf containing:
mail_plugins = $mail_plugins virtual
namespace {
prefix = virtual/
separator = /
location = virtual:~/Maildir/virtual
}
And created the
/home/username/Maildir/virtual/unseen/dovecot-virtual file which contains:

Virtual Folder configuration problem. [FIXED]
Well, it took a ton of time and research, but I finally have a working
Unread virtual mailbox on Dovecot 2.x on Centos 6.0. I have no idea if
it's optimal or correct, but it works perfectly and doesn't raise any
errors or warnings.
Here's what I ended up with:
dovecot.conf: Add the following:
mail_plugins = $mail_plugins virtual
namespace {
type = private

MS Exchange IMAP Proxy
I need to make the IMAP interface of an Exchange 2000 server available
on the net, however I would like to give it a little protection, and
believe Dovecot's IMAP proxy might be appropriate.
Does anybody have a *really simple* config that would allow IMAP
pass-through to a single Exchange server?
The examples I've seen all assume some sort of load balancing, which

SSL only for external connections
Hi
I'm running dovecot 1:1.2.15-7 and php webmail application is throwing errors when connecting to IMAP with TLS. Is there away to disable SSL/TLS for localhost connections? I googled, but didn't see anything specific. Can I assume that it's as simple as setting ssl_listen = to the external IP address(es) and leaving listen = * as it is?
Thanks.

Only one out of 10 remote extensions expiring registry
I have about 20+ phones on a server, all set for registry expiry 1 min. But
only this one, with 2 accounts, keeps re-registerting itself. All the time
this is what I see on asterisk CLI and it is kind of annoying. What only
this phone does this and no other. Its on a remote location. All phones are
Grandstream GXP-2000.

Rcpp and mclapply
Dear all,
I have an R script that uses Rcpp, and I have been trying to parallelize
it using mclapply (I tried with the multicore and the parallel library)
Sometimes (not always, interestingly), the CPU use for each core drops,
usually so that the total over all cores reaches 100%, i.e., as fast as if
using just one single core fully. I tried my code directly from within
emacs, and also using a

When rendering component from application
render_component ({contoller =>''component/controller'', action =>
''SimpleAction''}, the call:
url_for ({controller => ''component/controller'', action =>
''SimpleAction''})
from that component produces /component/controller/SimpleAction.
But if we go to that url, call:

managesieve proxy
We have dovecot on a pop/imap server working as a proxy to dovecot on
the backend storage servers. This is working fine, but the difficulty
is that if I use, for example, avelsieve in squirrelmail, it doesn't
know where to connect. I imagine the same problem would exist with
sieve-capable mail clients such as KMail, especially since the outside
world isn't allowed to connect directly to

Strange behaviour of as.integer()
I have encountered a strange behaviour of as.integer() which does not
seem correct to me. Sorry if this is just an indication of me not
understanding floating point arithmetic.
> .57 * 100

> .29 * 100
[1] 29
So far, so good. But:
> as.integer(.57 * 100)
[1] 56
> as.integer(.29 * 100)
[1] 28
Then again:
> all.equal(.57 * 100, as.integer(57))

[v2v PATCH 00/14] Adaptations to Weblate
We are migrating to Weblate (the Fedora instance, in particular) for
translations instead of Zanata. Adapt our tooling a bit to the different
workflow:
- Weblate takes care of updating the po files whenever a new translation
catalog is available, so stop doing that on our own: this meant also
tweaking the po4a usage for POD documentations, resulting in simpler
rules (IMHO)
- ensure that the

[LLVMdev] [llvm-testresults] cfarm-x86-64 x86_64 nightly tester results
This nightly tester is now using an llvm-g++ that produces the new ODR linkage
types. This means that many more functions are being considered by the
inter-procedural optimization passes (for example, "linkonce" functions defined
in a header). The result seems to be pretty huge swings (both good and bad) in
the C++ tests in the testsuite, see below. Note that this tester is often

ZFS @ centOS
I have trouble finding definitive information about this. I am considering
the use of SME 7.5.1 (centOS based) for my server needs, but I do want to
use ZFS and I thus far I have only found information about the ZFS-Fuse
implementation and unclear hints that there is another way. Phoronix
reported that http://kqinfotech.com/ would release some form of ZFS for the
kernel but I have found nothing.
