Ip Src rewite.
Hello folks.. Does any of you know if it is possible to rewrite the ip src in a packet. I have a problem involving a DMZ with external IP addresses routed trough a single WAN IP. When the server initiates a connection, it looks like it comes from the WAN ip instead of it''s designated External IP routed through the WAN. So in short, Is it possible to rewrite the packet in the router,

default gw route has gone?
Weird behaviour. A couple of days ago I installed another DSL router. During the process I have somehow caused the default gw route to disappear - on system start up the interface comes up fine, I can see and connect to the local subnet but not to the internet. clock sync/drift
Hi, We have a little over 100 servers, almost all running CentOS 5.7. Virtually all are Dell servers, generally a mix of 1950s, R610s, and R410s. We use NTP and/or PTP to sync their clocks. One phenomenon we've noticed is that (1) on reboot, the clocks are all greatly out of sync, and (2) if the PTP or NTP process is stopped, the clocks start drifting very quickly. If it was isolated to

Arguments passing through dot-dot-dot lose ability to check for missing()?
Hi R-devel. Is the following behavior in g1() and h1() expected? It seems to make "..." arguments work slightly differently from named arguments. #missing() has the property that it looks "up the chain" #for example, "z" can be missing in f3 even if #that argument did have a name ("y") in f2 f1 <- function(x, ...) { cat("In f1, missing(x) is

Centos 6 - Networking: Some Queries
Hello all I am setting up a Centos 6 machine with one network card & one onboard network port. Both are recognized & work. Onboard Network port is unused yet, but is required for dedicated access to LTSP LAN, which would allow older PIII machines to boot from this system. I have installed LTSP but again Networking seems to be the problem area, as the clients won't boot from this

Windows Routing issue
Hello All, I took a break from trying to get Tinc working and have come back to it now with the release of 1.0.11. I have 2 Windows computers connected behind firewalls and everything seems to be correct, except I cannot seem to get any data past the server TAP interface. I can ping the Server TAP interface from the client, but no data will move through the TAP interface to the Internet. I have

[Bug 452] DNAT to internal network don't work with source routing and 2 uplinks

I think that source routing is setup correctly: I can ping/connect to my router through both interfaces from outside no matter how I setup default routing on it. Marcin Z -- Configure bugmail:

Stats help with calculating between and within subject variance and confidence intervals
Hello. I'm trying to find a way in R to calculate between and within subject variances and confidence intervals for some analytical method development data. I've found a reference to a method in Burdick, R. K. & Graybill, F. A. 1992, Confidence Intervals on variance components, CRC Press. This example is for Balanced Data confidence interval calculation from Pg 62. The data are

Matrices in R - Simple question?
Hi, I'm a new R user and would appreciate your help regarding the following: Can I create a matrix whose elements are n functions of a vector x? In my problem I have 3 vectors (a,b,c) with elements a=[f1(x) f2(x)....fn(x)]; b=[g1(x) g2(x)....gn(x)]; c=[h1(x) h2(x)....hn(x)]. I need to create a final function that looks like: f(x)=f1(x)*g1(x)*h1(x)+.....+fn(x)*gn(x)*hn(x). (f(x) is my
