Asterisk Google API applications - $4500 bounties available
In conjunction with my last post on Tellme I want to write another
suggestion for an application I had.
I don't know if you guys have come across Google Gas
http://www.ahding.com/cheapgas
But basically it is an application that this guy has developed using the
Google API to search an online database on gas prices in your area.
One of my strong beliefs about how Asterisk is going

bounties
Has anyone considered a bounty system for R?
(i.e., some kind of system whereby users could put
up money to request particular improvements/bits of
R code. These bits of R code need not be incorporated
into base R unless they're deemed sufficiently useful,
but they could go (e.g.) on the Wiki)

Ogg Vorbis bitrate peeling bounty on Launchpad
Hello all,
Just a quick note to let you all know that I have placed a bounty on
Lauchpad to get bitrate peeling added to Vorbis. It is a feature that I
think we would all like to have, and would probably pay something to
get, but it hasn't been done.
My request to you is to add to the bounty. I have seeded it with US$20,
which is not enough to motivate a developer to get it done, but I am a

bounties for exploits against CentOS?
With companies like Facebook and Google offering cash prizes for people
who can find security holes in their products, has there ever been any
consideration given to offering cash rewards to people finding security
exploits in CentOS or in commonly bundled services like Apache?
(Provided of course they follow "responsible disclosure" and report the
exploit to the software authors

request for clarification on Asterisk T.38 bounty
The bounty stands at $5,500. I'm seriously considering taking a shot
at it if I can find a decent T.38 provider to test with (I'm still
hoping for reliable PAYG T.38).
It looks like a lot of very smart people have done a lot of very hard
work (t38modem, spandsp) that would go towards getting this working.
At this point it appears to be mostly a matter of integration

Some ideas
Hi all,
I'll try to explain my suggestion with my poor english.
I've got the feeling that icecast is full of potential but not growing
as fast as it can or simply not having the support it could have.
The greatest lack are the "open doors" for new coders, webdesigners,
translators, etc. Icecast is open: the sourcecode is open, the mailing
list is open, etc. But a skill is

Noobie problems with helper
I have the following helper method in application_helper.rb:
def format_date(date)
day = to_s(date.day)
month = to_s(date.month)
time = to_s(date.time)
date = day + "/" + month + " - " + time
return date
end
I am trying to call this method in a view like this:
<%= format_date(bounty.created_on) %>
create_on is a timestamp in mysql. I am

[OT] Godaddy hell...
Can I get some recommendations:
We are looking for a hosting provider (other than godaddy) with
1: SLA
2: SSH access
3: subversion/rsync or the ability to install binaries / compile source.
Would like them to include http/https and email.
Any suggestions?

[PATCH 0/7] PowerPC64 performance improvements
Hi Brian,

The IBM Bounty Source page has a list of resources:
https://www.bountysource.com/teams/ibm/bounties
Travis also has ppc64le support, so if you add the linux-ppc64le target
then FLAC will be tested on ppc64le.

Exchange 2010?
In our lab we have installed Exchange 2007 SP1 against samba 4.8.2 on Windows Server 2008R2 and Windows Server 2012R2. (not fully tested yet)
In attempts to install Exchange 2010 we have had many stumbling blocks. Has anyone successfully installed and can share what preparatory steps they took?
The only information we could find on the web is
