COAT: an EDSL making just-in-time code generation easier
Hi all,
I open sourced a small project of mine recently. It is an EDSL for C++
which makes just-in-time compilation much easier to write and maintain.
One of its backends is LLVM's OrcJIT (LLVM 7, still).
https://github.com/tetzank/coat
Here is a blog post of mine introducing the concept:

Sangoma BRI card -- National ISDN/North America support (Having problems with analog disconnect supervision?)
Hi, folks!
Sangoma has an informal user survey up on their home page (at
http://www.sangoma.com) asking if people would use their A500 card for
North American BRI, if it were supported.
I encourage anyone with an interest in voice BRI in North America to
vote; this information will be used for deciding whether to make the
investment in developing a National ISDN driver layer for it. Benefits

NORTH CAROLINA: Any interest in starting NC User Group?
I have noticed other parts of the U.S. and the world posting about user
groups, and wondered if we have enough Asterisk users and interest in
the Carolinas to start a group. I am willing to help with the
organizational effort if there is interest and maybe one or two other
folks who would be willing to help with organization.
I tried to post this message last week, but accidentaly used the

Dual-home Wifi/GSM phones for North America
So, for the hotel project, what was the conclusion? I don't remember
seeing a summary.
And were any of the phones combination Wifi/GSM? Like a Nokia E70 or E61i?
I've been looking for such a phone to use myself, but so far haven't
found one that I liked. Common flaws were:
* poor standby time
* lousy interface for doing complex configurations (esp. certificate
management)

Which PCIe cards work with North American BRI & Asterisk?
Which PCIe cards work with North American BRI & Asterisk?
Digium & Sangoma don't support it, according to everything I've read
(their manuals and their tech support).
I think I need National, maybe National 1 or National 2. I already
got an NT-1. I'm getting a few ISDN phones to test the circuit.
I ordered a Dialogic Diva Diva 4BRI - 8 PCI-E 4 Ports Quad 803-031-02B Gu...

Hi R folks,
I'd like to announce several new R users groups here in SF, LA, NYC,

ISDN BRI with National (north america) Signalling
Anyone actually got this working with asterisk ?
I have read posts that it is possible with capi and the diva server cards.
Regular diva and diva pro both claim to support NI-1 and NI-2 and CAPI -
will they work as well ?
Has anyone actually got it working ? Forget the should and could part, I
only care about the does/doesn't and why.
If you have it working, please tell me - telco,

SpreadLevelPlot for more than one factor
Dear Sir,
Many thanks for your reply.
I have a query.
I have a whole set of distributions which should be made normal /
homoscedastic. Take for instance the warpbreaks data set.
We have the following boxplots for the warpbreaks dataset:
a. boxplot(breaks ~ wool)
b. boxplot(breaks ~ tension)
c. boxplot(breaks ~ interaction(wool,tension))
d. boxplot(breaks ~ wool @ each level of tension)

SpreadLevelPlot for more than one factor
Dear Ashim,
I?ll address your questions briefly but they?re really not appropriate for
this list, which is for questions about using R, not general statistical
questions.
(1) The relevant distribution is within cells of the wool x tension
cross-classification because it?s the deviations from the cell means that
are supposed to be normally distributed with equal variance. In the

North Arrow (.png file) on a Map
Hi list.
I would like to know how do I insert a North arrow, stored as a png file in
my computer, in a map? I found lots of post asking similar things, one of
them mentioned the pixmap package. The map was done using map() and
shapefiles (the code is below). I’m using the pixmap () and addlogo()
functions. Well I can import the png with pixmap() function (I guess, once
there’s no error message),
