libvirt-bin MOSTLY fails to create default virtual network
I have observed 3 scenarios after I reboot the host with 2 guests (which are supposed to autostart after boot/reboot of the host): 1. Default network is created but I can not ping guests. Gests don't have assigned IP address or they both have IP address 192.168.122.100. 2. Default network is not created. 3. Default netork is properly created and everything works fine. In each case guests are

Can I update libvirt while KVM guest os are running
Hello I have a simple question. Can I update libvirt RPM while KVM guest OS on RHEL5 is running. Background When I run rhn_register, then rhn-virtualization-host RPM was installed by RHN. And then libvirt-python was also installed from the RHN. The libvirt-python RPM has a dependency with libvirt. And the dependency was not only the RPM file name, and also specific RPM versions as well. # rpm

DomU in it''s own LVM partition fails to boot CentOS 5.2 Dom0/U
I''m trying to do what I think would be relatively simple but can''t seem to make it work. Essentially I want to create several domU''s running CentOS each with it''s own LVM partition for increased performance over image files. Initially I did a test with image files and everything went fine, I booted the supplied initrd and vmlinuz images installed CentOS from

Question on sysvol replication, GPOs and sysvolreset
Hello, I am wondering whether I have all pieces together for a scenatio with two DCs and GPOs being used. Obviously the GPOs need to be replicated between DCs, I use "osync" as per the samba wiki (https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Bidirectional_Rsync/osync_based_SysVol_replication_workaround). In that documentation the sysvolreset command is issued every time on the second DC after

Question on sysvol replication, GPOs and sysvolreset
Try: http://samba.bigbird.es/doku.php?id=samba:sync-sysvol I would recommend one way sync always from PDC FSMO owner, as this is the machine the GPOs get created in by default. And of course : http://samba.bigbird.es/doku.php?id=samba:sync-idmap.ldb Regards. CLI message: remote unix connection disconnected
I am running the most recent asterisk 1.2.13 on a Fedora 3.0. When I go into asterisk (asterisk -r), defaults to verbose 3 and I get a stream of messages: Remote Unix connection Remote Unix connection disconnected ... ... (keeps on repeating). I went to google and searched on "asterisk Remote Unix connection disconnected" but cannot find anything I can recognize. I checked my iax.conf

Audio goes one way during the call for a few seconds. Is it RTP, NAT, dyndns, or what it is?
Hi everybody, I finally want to get rid of 1-way audio problem. Please help me here. I have 3 scenarios. 1. Audio is always one way. R: "New" (i.e., posted last week) Learning Puppet chapters
Imho, should be intesting some idea on the integration of puppet in large corporation, the possible workflow, the separation of duty. For example using something as gitolite, the integration with quality control of some sort, the reporting. I have read something in pro puppet : i am sorry but most of that is discussed there in this area is very basic. Best regards ----Messaggio originale---- Da:

Live migration under drbd
Hello all, When I live migrate my centos guest from node1 to node2, I can ping the guest, but on node 2 if i do: xm console guest01 , I am not able to access it. When migrating back to node1 , I can access the console. What I noticed is, to access the console, the node ''s drbd resource/disk needs to be in primary status . Is it typical or only I am having this problem. Is there any

Audio goes one way during the call for a fewseconds. Is it RTP, NAT, dyndns, or what it is?
We had very similar problems to this which drove us insane for ages. Basically we use VoIP trunks (SIP) for all our inbound + outbound calls. Call quality was good however we would get random problems where people could not hear us or us hear them for about 5-10 seconds at a time. After weeks of trying to get to the bottom of the problem it appeared our VoIP trunk provider (sentiro/sip2go) had

automatically detaching PCI host devices from guest for SRIOV usage.
Dear List , We are using intel 82599EB based SRIOV capable 10GbE cards on the host machine. The VFs are being assigned to the guest in pass through mode and are providing the network connectivity as expected. However when we shutdown the guest the connectivity does not comes back via the VFs on the guest in next boot unless the VFs are detached from the *guest* *before* initiating a shutdown of

passing argument to a class or a module
I see plenty of examples of classes or modules such as ntp or sudo or ssd. But none of these examples pass an argument to a class or a module. If I wanted to pass the rpm name to a module or a class, what would be the call to that class in site.pp and what would be the class definition in init.pp? VNC ports
I am needing to explicitly assign VNC ports to my virtual guests so that I can connect to them externally via a VNC client, and not virt-viewer. Since I will have multiple KVM Hosts with access to the same shared storage (to facilitate migrations) I need to ensure I have unique VNC ports assigned to each guest so that I don't overlap somehow. I had planned to use a range of ports starting at

'unknown user' using dovecot LDA
Ok, one more issue to resolve. The old server was still using the postfix/virtual for delivery, but the new one is using the dovecot LDA. I have a weird problem with PDC on samba 3.5.3 and I think I need developers' help :)
I'm sorry for the very long debug pasted below but I'm afraid lower debug levels would not give enough useful information about the problem. I've been investigating it for over two weeks with no result. Maybe developers can tell me where to search for the cause - browsing source code is very hard... I have a Samba PDC with LDAP backend. Configuration works fine on 3.0.x version but
