Q: Samba AD, Pfsense, Windows 10, vpn
I only have some experience with OPNsense but maybe you can relate:
- In my case it was always the certificate.?
- I had to add the cert to the system certs using CLI. Adding them in the WebGUI was not enough.
- Port 636 did not work for me, only 389 using STARTTLS
Hope that helps...

qcow2 performance
Greets,
I have to research performance-issues of a W2003-VM within KVM.
Right now it's a qcow2-image-file w/ default settings within libvirt
(configured by vmm ...)
My question:
what caching to use?
writeback/writethrough/etc ... what to use for data integrity while not
getting ultraslow performance?

WebGUI Scripts announcement
Dear Shorewall Users, having noticed that the request for a WebGUI is
growing, after a very short conversation I''ve had with Tom, I''d like to
let you all evaluate the Web interface to Shorewall I''ve written,
integrating the original weblet package made available for the LRP project.

webgui, gui
Are there any good "GUI"s, webGUIs for managing an "Linux" server? For
several use, like the mandriva directory server?
thanks

New Project: AskoziaPBX
Greetings everyone,
I've been working on a (yet another) "all-in-one" Asterisk based
project. It is aimed at embedded / low power systems (but scales fine
on more capable hardware) and is based on Asterisk 1.4.x and FreeBSD
6.2. Because of this, I've mostly been hanging out on the asterisk-bsd
list as bugs rolled in and the system's features were improved. We're

Glusterfs and Xen - mount option
Hi,
I've installed Gluster Storage Platform on two servers (mirror) and mounted
the volume on a client.
I had to mount it using "mount -t glusterfs
<MANAGEMENT_SERVER>:<VOLUMENAME-ON-WEBGUI>-tcp <MOUNTPOINT>" because I
didn't had a vol file and couldn't generate one with volgen because we don't
have shell access to the gluster server right?
How can

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/mmu: fix use-after-free bug in nvkm_vmm_pfn_map
If it failed in kzalloc, vma will be freed in nvkm_vmm_node_merge.
The later use of vma will casue use after free.

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: Add correct turing page kinds
Turing introduced a new simplified page kind
scheme, reducing the number of possible page
kinds from 256 to 16. It also is the first
NVIDIA GPU in which the highest possible page
kind value is not reserved as an "invalid" page
kind.
To address this, the invalid page kind is made
an explicit property of the MMU HAL, and a new
table of page kinds is added to the tu102 MMU
HAL.

How does vmm get all mmio areas of pci devices?
Hi, any one help? I have puzzled by the question of device''s MMIO areas. I
know a MMIO operation of guest os handled by VMM as follow steps:
1: Qemu-dm does its initialization and presents virtual devices for guest
os.
2: virtual bios executes PCI_setup, it will scan the pci bus and get
configure space of all devices, then virtual bios allocation system
resources(like port I/O range,MMIO

[OT] dovecot appliance
Hello all.
I am reading the mailinglist for a long time now, and there was a thread
i believe called webgui or something.
In this thread there was a company i believe german, that was working on
a dovecot appliance with a web based gui to administrate a dovecot mail
server.
The problem is i did not save the URL of that company.
Does anyone know which company make the appliance.
Or does

Updated version of patch
Attached is a patch against shout-python-0.2 which does two trivial but
very useful things
(1) The function "get_connected" is exported so that shout-python
becomes usable
in nonblocking mode. In the current version of shout-python "open"
raises an exception in nonblocking mode.
(2) The global interpreter lock is released in the potentially blocking
functions
