How to use "virsh migrat" with p2p option?
Hi libvirt support,
Can you please give me some example of how to use "virsh migrate --live" with p2p option including both source host and target host?
I try to get some info from your website, but no info with migrate.

Hey all,
With libvirt 6.5.0 and qemu 5.1.0 migration of non shared disks in
tunneled mode does not work for me:

--persistent --undefinesource --copy-storage-all --tunneled --p2p

virsh migrate --copy-storage-inc
Hello,
I use libvirt on machines without shared storage. My VM's have all one
qcow2-disk, with the same name as the VM.
When I want to migrate a VM, I check if there is an qcow2 image on the
other host with that name. When that's not the case, I copy the image
using rsync first. If the image excist, I don't do that, and I think
that "--copy-storage-inc" will do it.
But I

Virtual NICs (aliases like eth0:1) won't come up after reboot
With one problem down I still have another remaining. Since the
installation of our primairy webserver we have had a problem with the
network aliasses.
Our server has 8 IP adresses so we used the tool provided in the GUI to
specify (and name - for our own convinience) eth0 aliasses with the
other 7 adresses. After setting them up, applying them, activating them

unable to execute QEMU command 'migrate': this feature or command is not currently supported
Hi all
I'm trying to do a live migration with non-shared storage on CentOS 7.
It was working
well doing it from CentOS 6 to CentOS 7 but not between to CentOS 7
machines. I read
that this feature was removed in RHEL/CentOS 7 but should be available
in the CentOS-QEMU-EV
repository. But I still get the error using qemu-kvm-ev:

migrate local storage to ceph | exchanging the storage system
TLDR: Why is virsh migrate --persistent --live domain
qemu+ssh://root@host/system --xml domain.ceph.xml
not persistent and what could i do about it?
Hi,
after years of beeing pleased with local storage and migrating the
complete storage from one host to another, it was time for ceph.
After setting up a cluster and testing it, its time now for moving a lot
of VMs on that type of storage, without

Live Migration Without Shared Storage
I‘m very exited to hear that qemu has supported live migration without shared storage and I also have found some persons give their experiments, for example: (http://blog.allanglesit.com/2011/08/linux-kvm-management-live-migration-without-shared-storage/)

Support live migration of OpenVZ container
Hi libvirt team,
I was trying to migrate an OpenVZ domain from one host to another host. It
seems that the live migration of OpenVZ container is there (
https://openvz.org/Migration_from_one_HN_to_another), but it haven't been
integrated to libvirt yet. In particular, I ran the following commands and
it failed:
$ sudo virsh migrate --live --verbose --undefinesource 101 openvz+ssh://

Multi-threaded virsh migrate
Hi folk, we are using 10gb NICs with multithreaded compression.
We're finding that the standard `virsh migrate` gets at most ~1.2gbps,
similar to a single scp session.
When we do a multipart upload with multiple scp connections we can squeeze
as high as 9.6gbps.
Is there was a way to get `virsh migrate` to perform multiple connections
as well when transferring?
Would be useful to be able
