XEN multiple bridge problem - VM won' start!
Hi,
I've been using CentOS & Xen on a server that has 2 VM's configured. The
default configuration includes one physical iface that is propagated (by a
default bridge) to the VM's.
Since I wanted to configure additional physical iface, define a new bridge
and propagate it to the viface-s of the VM's, i configured the bridge/phys.
iface and brought it up (here are

network-bridge breaks networking when eth0:1 is added
I added a virtual interface eth0:1 on one of my machines and suddenly
networking breaks on startup of the system (eth0 is gone) when xend starts
and runs the network-bridge script. This is supposed to be fixed according
to: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi
I checked and the network-bridge script contains this fix. It works fine
on one of my PCs when eth0:1 is added, but not on this

factor : how does it work ?
Dear all,
I try for long to understand exactly what is the factor type and especially
how it works, but it seems too difficult for me....
I read paragraphs about it, and I understand quite well what it is (I think)
but I still can't figure how to deal with.
Especially these 2 mysteries (for me) :

commands) from

xen hotplug scripts not working
Hello Everyone,
I have set up a xen server with 10 physical network devices using the bridge mode of XEN. This is because I want to split and separate the network traffic for security reasons. Maybe the best way is to use pci back hide. But I want to understand what is going on here.
For all testings I have only activated eth[0-3].
My first tests were successful. I have created a VM using

[LLVMdev] Status of Elsa->LLVM
I'm a little further along now. I've started to put together a simple
driver for Elsa and LLVM that I'm calling "ellsif" (cute name, I think
it works).
The file being compiled is a "printf" function. Here are timing results
for optimized and unoptimized runs:

Need information
Hi,
Referring to the link http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/VirtualNetworking, the
scenario described for the routed mode, explains that
"Host has public IP and virtual machines have static public IPs. But one
can't use bridged networking, since provider accept only packets from the

Method dispatch for function call operator?
Dear R gurus,
I am trying to create a nicer API interface for some R modules I have
written. Here, I heavily rely on S3 method dispatch mechanics and
makeActiveBinding() function
I have discovered that I apparently can't dispatch on function call
operator (). While .Primitive("(") exists, which leads me to believe that
things like x(...) are internally translated to
