Release of libvirt-0.9.2
As planned the new release is available at: ftp://libvirt.org/libvirt/ It is a rather large release with near 400 commits included. From an user point of view the main improvement is likely to be when using migration as various work has been done to extend the protocol and to avoid having the migration command stop other concurrent operations (like virsh list). [PATCH libguestfs] maint: remove a subsumed syntax-check rule
Hi Rich, I noticed that libguestfs's cfg.mk had an old (and relatively inefficient) version of the rule that checks for empty lines at EOF. The one in maint.mk is much more efficient: >From cf93f04a980ec01ef37db9a0d4c7b99015169eee Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jim Meyering <meyering at redhat.com> Date: Mon, 17 Sep 2012 11:49:34 +0200 Subject: [PATCH libguestfs] maint: remove a

Your ideas ...
I am looking for ideas on how to best webcast public meetings. The general idea is to allow folks to easily send their live or recorded meeting audio up to a server via their browser. My goal is to present an alternative to more expensive video webcasting for small local government and community groups that want to "double" their audience from 10 people a the room with a net

Server question - if you had ...
If you had $3,000 for a new Icecast2 streaming server, what would you buy? What box, hard drives, LAN cards, etc.? The project I am involved with is helping community groups in UK webcast live public meetings and events. Democaster also archives Icecast streams for on-demand streaming or download. We are focused on high accessibility and low cost. See: http://dowire.org/wiki/Democaster Because

two small patches to appease clang/llvm static analysis
I ran libguestfs through llvm+clang, today, [http://clang.llvm.org/StaticAnalysis.html] It found only two things worth changing -- neither is a real problems. Adding the noreturn makes it so the tool understands line 541 of guestfs.c is truly reachable only for non-NULL "p": 540 if (!p) g->abort_cb (); 541 memcpy (p, ptr, size); >From

[PATCH hivex 1/2] maint: avoid some syntax-check test failures
Hi Rich, I've updated hivex to use the latest from gnulib and fixed a few syntax-check failures. With these changes, almost all of "make distcheck" succeeds. Patches to enable logging of sftp and scp
Hi all, Looking around for a way to turn on server side logging of files transferred via sftp/scp, these kept-up-to-date patches cropped up: For SFTP http://sftplogging.sourceforge.net For SCP http://sweb.cz/v_t_m/ (near the bottom) Would someone from the OpenSSH team have time/inclination enough to look at adding these to OpenSSH itself?
