Network configuration issue with second public ip on CentOS 6
Hi folks,
I have a server at Soyoustart.com (which is a brand of OVH). I run
CentOS 6.7 and have problems with network configuration.
I want to add a second public ip (failover ip) to the server and did
follow the instructions in the CentOS-section of
http://hilfe.ovh.de/AdministrationIpAliasHinzufuegen
After executing the required steps I'm not able to reach the host via

Same ip address assigned to two interfaces...
[i''m not clearly a network guru, but i''ve some knowledge... anyway i
think i''ve arrived to my ``end point'''' here. Probably i''ve also done
some big mistake, so please sorry me.]
I''ve setup in a local branch of my office two servers, say radagast

Network issue with vif-route method
Hello folks,
I used to work with bridging for my xen networks, but my very last hosting
provider doesn''t support multiple mac address on the switch port.
So I''m trying to configure some virtual servers on xen 3.2.1 using the
network-route and vif-route method instead of bridge.
Everything works well, on the virtual server except the network.
In the VM definition file, I have :

failover works - but balancing does not
here''s the setup (two dsl - same provider)

+-----> link2
the setup is ok in terms of the failover requirement. the other link
takes over when one is down. however, there is a very noticeable lag
when both lines are up. i''ve tried changing

Windows Routing issue
Hello All,
I took a break from trying to get Tinc working and have come back to it
now with the release of 1.0.11. I have 2 Windows computers connected
behind firewalls and everything seems to be correct, except I cannot
seem to get any data past the server TAP interface. I can ping the
Server TAP interface from the client, but no data will move through the
TAP interface to the Internet. I have

Shares on failover IP
Hi,
I have a failover configuration.
The domain controller's IP: 10.23.14.150 as dc01
The failover IP is: 10.23.14.155 as dcha
I added an A and a CNAME record to the dns for the failover IP.
It is working, i can see the shares, but I could not enter to any share as
user, as Administrator it works.
I tried to add the interface variable (i am not sure this is available in
samba4), that

CTDB IP takeover/failover tunables - do you use them?
I'm currently hacking on CTDB's IP takeover/failover code. For Samba
4.6, I would like to rationalise the IP takeover-related tunable
parameters.
I would like to know if there are any users who set the values of these
tunables to non-default values. The tunables in question are:
DisableIPFailover
Default: 0
When set to non-zero, ctdb will not perform failover or

Issue with ip aliases and routing
I need to get this working. I have a single interface eth0 with a primary
adress of x.x.214.162 on a /30 block network. This interface is properly set
up and works fine, however, I also have five aliased adresses on the same
interface: eth0:1 @ x.x.6.230, eth0:2 @ x.x.6.235, eth0:3 @ x.x.6.240,
eth0:4 @ x.x.6.245, and eth0:5 @ x.x.6.250. All of these adresses are on a

dracut ipv6 fixed ip
hi,
we have successfully implemented at tang/clevis environment for
automatically entering luks keys and booting hosts without operator
intervention.
Now we would like to use this as well on ipv6 networks, but I do not seem
to get it to work.
I have already posted this issue to the dracut devs github issue tracker (
https://github.com/dracutdevs/dracut/issues/554) but no response so far.
