Comment on libguestfs code in https://bitbucket.org/swamiyeswanth/pyti
Yeswanth, I'm looking at: https://bitbucket.org/swamiyeswanth/pyti/src/2b3a7401eccf/diskhandler.py from this thread: http://librelist.com/browser//pyti/2011/6/13/disk-handler/ (1) I don't think the code you posted will work unless you move line 23 ('launch') up to just after you've added the drive (after line 12). (2) You probably don't want to use 'add_drive'.

Pass parameters in periodically_call_remote?
Hi, I am still new to RoR, so please bear with this newbie question. I would like to have the application in view to press result back to the controller when the periodically_call_remote is called. Right now, this is the code in the view: <div id="get_result"></div> <%= periodically_call_remote(:update => ''get_result'',

[PATCH] Enable coredumps to be captured from the appliance (RHBZ#619334).
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=619334 This is a slightly unsatisfactory patch which allows coredumps to be captured when they occur inside the appliance. You can capture coredumps by doing: export LIBGUESTFS_COREDUMP=/sysroot/core.%t.%p.%e or equivalently: g.set_coredump ("/sysroot/core.%t.%p.%e") or variations thereof, see the manual page. When a coredump occurs,

[LLVMdev] Parsing C++ template parameters using cindex.py
Hi, I am parsing a C++ file using cindex.py and want to get the template parameters to a specific node. However, the tree seems to be different depending on if the template parameter is a struct/class or a simple type such as int or float. In the first case the template type is appended as a child to the VAR_DECL node (the TYPE_REF node seen in the example below), but this is not the case with

[PATCH v2 7/9] tests: daemon: Cleanly shut down the daemon on exit.
This refines the previous commit by shutting down the daemon cleanly at the end of the test (assuming the test was successful). It repurposes the 'internal_exit' API for this, which was previously used by the now defunct --enable-valgrind-daemon functionality. --- daemon/internal.c | 7 +------ generator/actions.ml | 3 ++- tests/daemon/captive-daemon.pm.in

[PATCH] Improve cleanup of libguestfs handle with Sys::VirtV2V::GuestfsHandle
This change replaces all direct usage of a Sys::Guestfs object in virt-v2v with a Sys::VirtV2V::GuestfsHandle proxy object. The proxy does 3 things: * Holds handle initialisation code * Adds the ability to explicitly close the handle * Adds the ability to register a callback to be executed before close The cleanup code in Sys::VirtV2V::Config is updated to use the new callback mechanism.

example script for GObject
I tried using Javascript (gjs) with GObject-Introspection and did a port of the create_disk example which is attached below. Quite a bit of time was spent looking up stuff in the GLib reference and guessing how certain idioms translate to gjs. I used the traditional add_drive_opts method since I haven't been able to find how to specify the optional arguments to add_drive_opts. How does that

Libguestfs hangs after issuing a launch command

Trouble installing SWAT on a Samba 4 Alpha 13 build on Ubuntu Server
Hello all, I have setup a complete domain using Samba 4 on my Ubuntu server 32 bit machine. I am using the Alpha 13 build (it was actually in the Ubuntu Repos). I am trying to setup swat to make it easier to manage shares. I have followed the instructions at https://github.com/rvelhote/GSoC-SWAT but I am having a few problems. When I run ./run I get the following errors: jenfab at
